I've also had reasonable success with elves against them... using their lack of speed against them. I have a new appreciation for the leap skill. Nothing funnier than an elf just jumping over the front line and blitzing the poor dwarf struggling to pick up the ball behind them.

Fighting against Dwarf is tough. Even experienced coaches still hate them.

If you play Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegedes, Nurgle or Skaven, just get "Claw" to kill them. "Claw"+"Migthty Blow"+"Defensive" are Dwarf nemesis.

No they are not , they are really broken specially at low TV and especially with what tool they have in that format.

every team has teams that it matches up well against and ones it doesnt. Chaos murder teams (or anyone else with a lot of claws) and elf passing teams can smoke dwarves at high tv, and at low tv dwarves have a hard time dealing with str 4/5, so black orcs, big guys, even chaos can hang with them in the hitting game while agility teams need to play more around mobility and the pass. Remember, EVERYONE is faster than dwarves...so if you play right you can make them take tons of GFI rolls and inevitably fail. You just cant stand line to line and expect to win a bash fight vs. dwarves at low tv, they all have block, high AV, and thick skull so you are not going to win that fight without stat or skill advantages of your own.

Lineman start with tackle making agility dodge less reliable , around 1300,1400 they are full guard , doesn't matter than you are strenght 4 or not and they still have the troll slayer to deal with hight strenght unit.
And speed is no longer an issue when you can very easily go with a runner mv8.You can do that with blitzer to if needed.

Dwarf are just a really poorly design team which get everything way to fast but even that i don't think they are going to be nerf , it's not the dev that choose that.

Dwarf are not broken. I play vs. them all the time, and they top out in awesome at around 1300. They are not poorly designed there just arent enough teams in this game right now. I cannot stand you people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about dwarves, they get beat all the time. You take away dwarfs and agi teams just run away with it. Never have I seen so many poor players martyring a team. Play some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ orcs if you can't dodge away. Good god you people man. Norse, Khorne, they suck too prep yourself.
Bottom line get better, dwarfs are not OP.

Even in bloodbowl 2 which have most of the team roster , they are still busted at low TV , in that format they are just more broken .
Even against orc , you gonna have like 7 guard against 3-4 and you gonna lose the attrition battle , you don't have thick skull.

Imo they should be nerf and have the same skill than the dwarf ow lineman , getting brawler and arm bar instead of block tackle (that nerf would also apply to chaos dwarf), having troll slayer with juggernaut instead of block and getting reroll to 60k

On the NAF national win percentages Dwarf teams are in the middle maybe a little higher. There are two elf teams above them on the list and I don't see you complaining about them. I don't know how you're playing them but appears not to be working. I suggest you change your strategy when you play them.

After Season 1 is done, it would be great to get Season 1 summaries of teams chosen, number of matches played with those teams, win/draw/loss ratios, injuries inflicted and received, team value trends, variances between PC, PlayStation, and Xbox etc. so we can have informed discussions about all this stuff. And maybe with less emotion or insults... ;-)

PS I've played 54 PvP matches so far with Elves this season, so I have a "healthy respect" for Dwarf teams. ;-) I feel the OP's pain, and I'm also aware that the video game tries to track the board game rules as much as possible.

PPS I also like to coach Dwarf teams. I've played 10 PvP matches with them this season.

PPPS I think I've played against zero other Elven Union teams this season, and I think I've only played against Imperial Nobility once, and Black Orcs a couple of times. I'm looking forward to more choice and variety in the team roster. (Looking forward to in game stats on who I've played too! :P )
