For the next seasson they'll probably patch the pathetic thing a bit, add Eternal League from BB2 (so repetitive, boring pseudo-game) - and that will be it, 99%.
You're basically asking for a pony that won't make a mess - it's not a real thing.
1. You have one blitz per turn, please make the AI use that blitz to take down the ball carrier or his protectors to at least get a tackle zone on the ball carrier.
2. Ball and chain players...why does the computer have to think 15 seconds per move and why does he go in the opposite direction and off field? I know it's not guaranteed what square he will go to but aim him at the opponents and not off field at least.
No it wouldn't. There's people right now that write half-way competent AI engines for Blood Bowl. They even have a regular competition.

They could at the very least weight the actions so the AI won't make a 4+ dodge away from the line of scrimmage as their very fist action every kickoff.
A world class champion AI would be pretty hard. A not-completely brain-dead Artificial Semi-Intelligence shouldn't be impossible.
But the AI is comically inept. I saw a gutter runner with the ball, that I could NOT stop, run from my end zone back to midfield, so the AI could form a cage around it. It's astonishingly bad AI from bad mediocre developers.
