You need to add them 1 by 1 yeah. Beside the singleplayer tag the game was launched with low to no singleplayer feature and I'm not even talking about the quality of the AI.
About the Offline part I have no idea on launch day onyl campaign was available in offline, haven't tried it since because online now works (low amount of players helps the servers)
Along similar lines, the game has hotseat support, but it's deliberately only implemented for Friendly matches. As of yet there's no possible way, online or off, to play a hotseat match with any lasting consequences for either team involved. Not in a league. Not even as a one-off.
This game's single-player options don't really feel limited so much as deliberately lacking. There's a lot they clearly already have the capability to do, and in many cases have done in previous titles, but have made a conscious choice to not do here and not even mention on the roadmap.
But they say an Eternal League feature is coming (to online only). So at least there's that one tiny glimmer of single-player support on the horizon?
Well that's garbage. Feels like a deliberate step backwards. I like playing offline as I find it speeds up the AI's decision making significantly, or at least it did. It was also just easier to try wacky team comps. Damn.
I doubt that
As a matter of fact, I just did. And as I am an average player, I guess, on average, many players just did for that reason.

Well, to be fair, the first season hasn't started yet. The Devs really didn't want to call an Early Access that and that's on them. But there is a plan and with the start of it, I believe the numbers will get better.
But now .... BB2 is better.
A lot better.
Very few games make big number after really bad launch.
Still hope you are right because i love the franchise even tho I still don't understand why picking the same studio who did horrible job with BB2 that took years to cover up.
Not a good way to grow a community who would benefits a lot from new players and the attention.
Y'all doomsday-sayers do realize that is also a huge contributor to the BB2 #s, right?
