MB + Claws?
how is it working on BB3?

I read somewhere it is different from BB2, but I can't find out how

i've noticed a significant drop in casualties inflicted by CMB and I think it's a welcome change as it makes it harder to cripple non-bashy (and bashy, ftm) teams now
Exactly, previously claw would drop AV to 7 (now 8+) and mighty blow would also add +1 to the armour roll if needed meaning that you would wind up breaking armour on a roll of 7+. Now because claws only gives you an armour break on an 8+ before modifiers the claw, mighty blow combo is less powerful as mighty blow is only used if you break armour.

People say it doesn't stack or whatever, I don't know what it all means yet.

MB is plus one to armor (or injury) claws is armor break on 8+ but they dont stack, however you can use claws to break the armor and still get the +1 to injury from MB. but having both WON'T be an armor break on 7+

If you have both Claw and Mighty Blow. You must use Claw to see if you break armor ( roll 8+ ). If that did not break the armor Mighty Blow hits air. If you did break armor you modify the Injury roll with Mighty Blow.

Extract of the rule book (in bold the key changes - for the first one, I am not 100% sure this is a change, anyway this is not related to the passing armor question)

Claws
When you make an Armour roll against an opposition player that was Knocked Down as the result of a Block action performed by this player , a roll of 8+ before applying any modifiers will break their armour, regardless of their actual Armour Value.

Yes, but just as important is the fact that both of those skills only work when that player is blocking, when it used to be in any block the player was involved in (hitting or being hit). That further reduces the potential for those skills to remove players from the pitch, and it gives incentive to hit such players first (and little reason to be afraid of hitting them).

Also, somehow when used Claw+MightyBlow it used MB twice at the injury-roll, but it had only Claw and MB +1 as ability.
Looked something like this in the log:
MightyBlow +1+1

that's probably because the game is still in beta stage

I haven't used any mutations myself or noticed in my gameplay but for sure claws should not activate when you fail a block on an opponent with claws. It should only activate "when you [the player with claws] make an armour roll against an opposition player that was knocked down as the result of a block action performed by this player."

As for mighty blow, if your opponent broke armour, with or without claws, it should add +1 to the injury but it's tough to say if it's an error in the way it's being presented in the log or if it's actually adding +2 without knowing the full rolls. At any rate it's definitely worth reporting it on the discord server if you get a chance.

Thx, I won't go to discord, but add it onto my list. Knew something was going on there...

ps.: All kneel before tentactles with arms, as only tentacles with arms are the true lords of this world and no one should question the tentacles with arms.
