Series of 1 aren't mathematically abnormal. In game consequences are severe.
Did you noticed series of other rolls or did you only report 1 ?
I don't mean it personally, but it seems you have your math wrong..
To roll 1 and in 99% to roll another one.. that is totally false claim.
Maybe you get mistaken that if you roll with a loner and you reroll it (and you don't roll say, 4+) the game "rolls" again the previous result, which is one?
Anyways, I'd like to see your evidence as otherwise such topic is redundant..
That doesn't mean that all conclusions are equally likely, of course... but it does mean it is tough to declare there is evidence to support any conclusions yet.
I'd be inclined to agree with you. I've noticed that more than 9 times out of 10, when the AI re-rolls a pair of block dice, the second roll is the exact same as the first. I've also noticed this when the AI re-rolls failed Big Guy die rolls.
I do not thing the rolls are biased, but I do think there's something odd in how often results are duplicated.
I played BB on the Table and you would not believe what streaks you throw. Sometimes you allways succeed, sometimes you are cursed for weeks on end. Who do you blame then? Nature? Some God? Fake Dice (even when they are your own?) ?
This topic is so old and your sample size so little, countless others have checked, it is random. Can random be bad for you, hell yeah. Dice don't remember.
You have to play against the dice - meaning: Don't get in situation where you have to throw them! And if you do, always (!) expect that it will go totally wrong.
Good luck.
Hum, I think this is just because when the AI miss the Loner roll he did the reroll animation and show again the actually not rerolled dice.
I am referring to the text/icon descriptions of the die rolls, not the animations themselves.
That is literally what taking a risk means ... you are taking a big chance at being punished for that move. What's the problem?
The dice are fine. I'm a statistician by trade and I've witnessed nothing to suggest they don't follow the normal rules of probability. Usually when people claim they are not fair its due to a common misunderstanding of probability. Rolling a 6 on a dice does not happen every six rolls. It means over thousands and thousands of rolls you will eventually reach the point that it evens out to about 1 in 6 rolls are a 6.
