Sliver league but I keep getting matched against Gold and Platinum teams

I just finished a game, five of my players injured, four knocked out, two on the field. Since I made silver tier this is the third game I have had like this. Two against Gold teams one against platinum, all in a row, no equal tiered silver teams in my future it seems. The thing is, my players have one to three skills each, these gold and platinum teams seem to run three to five skills per player. When every single opponent on the field has block, mighty blow, and guard, plus, you know, tackle and maybe strip ball, how are my layers going to compete? I don't quit. I make good star player points, but I just feel there needs to be a little more equality in the tier system. I would wait 30 minutes or more to play a team I have a chance against, I realize not everyone would, or would they? Discuss:)....

I think that now we are spread all over those different Divisions it gets harder to get an equal match -up. 30 minutes or more, how much more? Without the redraft and injury repair rules activated the difference between teams in value is going to make it even harder to get a game. It's a work in progress, your players are mauled probably so your value drops and you face lower valued teams. Seems the player base is not big enough at the moment. The moment you start to lose more spp than you make it becomes harder not to concede.

What race are you using?

I've been 'stuck' in Silver, but honestly had only one match up that was against gold in about 6-7 games. And that was a draw. So no complaints. TV has stayed around the 1200-1400 range in Silver.

With this system you really can't have any fat on the TV bones. With so much cash to go around, using the random skills and firing if you don't get what you need is almost a must.

I have to say I haven't had this experience at all. I've consistently played against other players generally within 75 points of me. If just went up to silver from bronze by a few points, the game might toss a bronze player at me, or when I was close to gold and sitting at 1386 ranking, I got people around 1450 in gold. I've never faced someone two tiers above me and I don't think I've ever played against someone that had more than 100K difference in TV.

Well, I would wait up to an hour for a game, but I do other things usually while waiting, like paint my tabletop BB teams. I don't generally fault others for conceding as long as they at least try (and by this I mean play at least a half). Many folks quit on turn three or four when all they are down is a knocked out player or two, or I got lucky and scored right after kicking to them. I have won games with only three players left on the field at the end. Usually with Elves or Skaven or some other hokey dodgy team, so generally it's worth while IMO to play the whole game, That said, if I lost (dead) three or four of my really best players in the first few turns these thoughts may be tossed out and I would probably concede immediately because of what you said about loosing more SPP than I am making.
