wtf is with the dice
two games in a row playing Skaven I failed a 2+ roll every turn atleast once I failed a dodge of 2+ with a reroll possibly multiple times. WTH is with the dice. I lost twice because my guys couldn't get around dwarfs or nurgle because what seemed like every rush or 2+dodge my guys would fail. I understand sometimes but it was crazy pervasive to the point it made the game not fun.

Last play of the 2nd game I failed a 2+ rush (used reroll got a 2+), passed it on a 3+ successfully and then failed the 2+ catch

so in 4 dice rolls i failed 2x 2+ rolls and it was like that both games, leading to multiple deaths and sever injuries.

2nd game I had used all three of my team rerolls by the 3rd turn because of failed 2+ and it still wasn't enough.

It's a combination of survivor and confirmation bias, but I've definitely noticed I'll have a string of bad games in a row, sometimes an entire Saturday. If I lose 2 games in a row I will switch to a different team or take a break.

It's just the dice. I play two different dice games at dinner with my wife and kids, Yahtzee and Farkle, and sometimes Nuffle blesses and curses those dice too. My 9 year old, who has no idea what he's doing and generally loses because he doesn't quite grasp the strategy behind Yahtzee, will occasionally just have a hot streak and obliterate everyone.

A game of Blood Bowl without the obligatory "The dice are loaded" or "The AI cheats to win" are not really Blood Bowl games

I don't mind a bad roll at inopportune times, it was just two games in a row with horrible rolls constantly if it had been real dice I would have put them aside and grabbed the next set. I was really just curious if there is a glitch/bug that can cause alot of bad rolls and I have a game like that in the future if I restart the game or something will it bring the dice back to even.

Like I said I don't mind getting a bad roll at inopportune times that is the fun of playing dice games. It was just the fact that if a dice was rolled I had a (seemed like) ahigher then 50% chance of failure even on a 2+ roll two games in a row that made me feel like they were really off. I guess if I get a game like that in the future I will just call it a night and hope the algorithmof rng blesses me the next day.

You won't have that second one here. I've never lost a game against the AI, and it rarely even scores a single touchdown.

So as long as you can overcome those dice at inopportune times there is no problem, but if you lose because of the dice you feel robbed. A little bias perhaps ? If we all lose our games because of the dice, who are the ones that win. Never you hear complaints from winners that tell, ooh I was so lucky. Stupid moves I did but man it worked out all fine. Two games in a row isn't that bad if you played thousands of games, we need more info to feel sorry for you, serious. But those Basher teams that complain about the lucky Skaven that never roll 1's that must be your team in other games as the two you called out to be rigged. Even at the Chess club people complain about luck, It's the start of the season and I start my first two games playing black, and we all know that white wins more often. I think the computer isn't programmed properly. Call it a night and take your blessing the next day, wise words at the end.

Ooh, that's a sharp observation.

Before my games begin, at half time, and at the end, I salute Nuffle with both of my middle fingers to let it know where I stand on it's "blessings".

He got one in my last match: my humans vs. skaven with a Rogre. Last drive, rogre blocks one of my lineman, gets both down, reroll, same; my lineman, prone; Rogre: DEAD! That's a sacrifice for Nuffle; isn't it??

Can't be; I'm the dullest knife in the drawer. ;)

It's just that that's what it feels like to be bad at the game when you're not inclined to look at how you can improve.

I blame ♥♥♥♥♥ like Sid Meier who ruined what people perceive as actually random rolls in a game. True randomness is god awful crazy and is what makes BB so fun. managing that risk is almost the entirety of the game (minimize your rolls!).

And OP, listen up and learn: rolling two 1's in a set of 4 1d6 dice rolls is about 13% chance. That is fuc king common! In fact in 4 dice you have about a 50% chance of rolling a single 1.

And randomness doesn't mean equal distribution, it means clumps, streaks, none occurrences, it means: RANDOM.
