How to skill Goblins?
The last time I used Goblins in an Orc team whas in the legendary edition over a decade ago.
Now with new rules the goblins seem to be made way more usefull and so I wonder, how should I skill them now.

It depend , if that a regular orc team and not black orc , you can fool with it unless you do it with a lineman (in that case a lineman is probably better because he is more sturdy than a gob for 10 k more) dirty player , sneaki git,

If you want just to throw him with the throll you can have catch to give him the ball , mv+ , sprint , sure feet. To have kinda a one turner.
And give strong arm to the throll after you give him guard and block.

I'd wait to get enough SPP to get Block as their first skill.

I agree with Saint Scylla, Block all the way. If you want one for defense diving tackle is pretty good.

They are really fragile imo , you don't want to put them on the field unless you have to , i would let my blitzer do the defender job.
I only use the gob if i want to one turn.

kick, sneaky git+dirty player

A skilled goblin can destroy an opponent with constant fouls. I found this out the hard way whilst facing an Orc team. Their goblin has sneaky git + dirty player and just repeatedly fouled then moved back to a protected square so I couldn't reach them.

sneaky git is going to get nerf later when the rule are going to get update , imo you can do the same with an orc lineman and he is more sturdy .

Sneaky git + Dirty player, or try to get a +1 agi for troll throwing, and then go on sprint / sure feet.

My gobba gets random AG skill, if they hit with sure feet or sprint or sneaky git I keep 'em. On a regular orc team you don't want more than 50k tv tied up on the gobbo. Black orc is a different beast.

My Elf Union team lost a recent match to Orcs in part due to my repeatedly ignoring/forgetting that a Goblin had Diving Tackle (as well as Sneaky Git). That Gobbo player both stopped me scoring to win, and forced a turnover while the other team countered and scored to win.

I saw a Black Orc team that had a lot upgrades to his goblins. He had a huge mix between one with guard one with Block and even one with sprint, He used them very well with there skills.

Guard is bad for gob , they are way to fragile to keep that.
Let your big guy keep it.

Not saying goblins aren't fragile, but I believe the Black Orc goblins at least have thick skull? Probably still not enough to warrant a guard though.
