Score the damned touchdown
Just ragequit out of a season match because the opposing player stood protected on the sideline purposely not scoring and running down every timer. Don't be that kind of guy.

That's totally legit and most effective tactic. Almost everyone, who cares about the result, will do so.

Ether force him to score, or try to attack and take away the ball, or prevent him from advancing into your endzone. It is not easy, but that's tactical challenge Blood Bowl is (almost) about.

Stop discrimination and give the elves back the ball with 2-3 turns.

Easily my least favourite (but as mentioned completely legitimate) tactic... and I've certainty lost games where I probably should have done it myself. Where's "Throw a Rock" when you need it!

Me stalling with elves for two turns, loses half my team...

"Ok fine!" *TOUCHDOWN!*

But yeah, stalling is 100% part of the game, if you don't stall versus Elves, Skaven, Lizards, and any 'throw a team mate race', then you'll likely lose a TD.

Also in case you haven't experienced it yet, turn 16 fouls happen. Prepare your body and soul for that.

Stalling is how you play most slow teams, especially if enemy has some ko. But ye running timer down to 0 every round while not doing anything meaningful is just ♥♥♥♥ move.

Unless your team is capable of scoring fast touchdowns, you are only likely to score 1 or 2 in a match. Stalling prevents a faster team from having the ability to equalise in the same half.

They were probably not expecting to win so were trying to force a concede. Definitely a **** move.

Every sensible player will try to maximize his spp by staying touchdown. If you can't force him to score - it your bad.

Yes! make your opponent score it's that simple. Depending on your team and your opponents team you would be stupid not to stall.

I think some don´t understand the comment OP wants to make. It is not about the opponent to stand there making nothing in his turn. Barricading to hold your lead is a complete legit tactic (Try forcing your way through a wall of Dwarves. Basically a lost cause)

It is about opponents doing nothing in their turn and letting the timer go down.
This is just annoying and obnoxious behavior. Here is the "problem" with BB being a turnbased Game. While it´s your opponents turn you can do nothing except wait.
And if he does nothing besides waiting in the hope you ragequit, this is not sportsmanslike.
If the opponent would barricade himself in with the ball and just skips his turn, this would be okay.

Learn to pressure. If your team has low movement, might want to leave a guy or two backfield so they can't setup for this so easily.

There was no pressure to be had at this point. Most of my team was incapacitated. If there had been a big bright concede button I would probably have just hit it and moved on to the next game.

Fouls help speed them up.

It's just best to not get in the situation to begin with. I know that sounds mean, and dice are dice and I still wind up there. You can always just lay your players on the ground or even run them upfield and just click end turn. They don't have to stand up, and maybe you'll save one of your few remaining players that way.

In that case they were being a complete ****. On the rare occasion I've met someone like that, I just do something else and waste their time too. They soon speed it up when they realise that you are responding in kind.
