You're joking, right? Cyanide can't be *that* dumb that they didn't include visible mutations. That was a feature in BB2, even!
That's gotta be a setting that's not turned on yet, or something.
Just wanted to quote the same. So lazy.
Like really not adding the mutation "by design" wtf guys years in the making and you spent more time making 150 different shoulder pads for the shop than adding the 12 visual mutation, greedy and lazy
Why am I even playing chaos renegades then???
If its a budgeting issue, why didn't they design their models in such a way to account for mutations??? Such a rookie mistake.
Mutations going to be premium currency cosmetics or something? It would be incredibly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but better than nothing at all.
EDIT:
Yes, I keep screwing this up. It is Nacon now. New company, same ♥♥♥♥♥♥ management though. And let's never forget the Frogware/Nacon ♥♥♥♥ show. Scummy publisher to the n-th degree.
One of the worst designed games i have seen in a long, long time.
Even more baffling when you think they already made 2 similar games that worked.
The obsession to get onto the live service gravy train has killed yet another franchise.
Im so done now with games i am interested in being sacrificed on the altar of shareholders.
I might pick it up in a 70% off sale in a few months, if they can even be bothered to fix it.
But is absolutely hilarious though (I mean other than the game being a giant turd). I have not seen a single post from the goon squad. I guess they were already let go.
As I understood it from the representative commentating on discord the mutations clashed with the microtransaction cosmetics.
I think most if not all of us Blood Bowl players would agree that we'd rather see the mutation that visualises a gameplay mechanic rather than a silly cosmetic that serves no purpose other than greedily making Nacon money.
I'd suggest anyone planning on getting a refund to wait and drop a review first in order to warn other players.
Their mastermove was the very long tutorial, so players don't have much time to notice how bug ridden the rest of the game is before exceeding the refund timer.
