Bug - List of Anomalies - No more Reports here, please!
Hi :mgoat:,

ok, I'll try to make a list of current anomalies in the game. But I have to say that it is a bit hard when you can't talk with your opponent about what happened from their perspective.

Also, I try to search for bugs reported from other players. Please feel free to write down your short Bug-Description, what you did before it happened and what you saw when it happened, in here and I will try to put it into the list. Please make as sure as possible that it has nothing to do with the connection of your computer. Thank you!

Some Quick-Advice: The game has a lot of spots in a match where it just asks you, or your opponent, to assure that this action is what you want to do, or it wants specific targets, or for some actions you need to hold the button for them to appear. Try clicking on your player or your target if nothing works.

I. Match

1. Possession of a ball

- After blocking the opponent ball carrier his ball landed on the pit trap square. After picking it up with my catcher I was unable to score with it. Visually the catcher had it, but as far as the game was concerned the ball appeared to have been removed (no more ball highlighting) and didn't reappear until the next half!!!

- Had a player jump over a prone player and land successfully on the tile behind which had the ball in it. Pick up roll was successful, but the ball remained visually on the pitch. I moved the player, he appeared to move without the ball, then moved him again and he stumbled. As the turnover animation played, the ball magically moved over to the player and scattered off the field.

2. Pass and Interception of a ball

Advice: Interception works in some cases. Try to click on the guy who does the interception after you've choosen to intercept. Shouldn't be needed, but it is sometimes.

- Tried to throw a longbomb, but the opponent let his choice to intercept run out, as it was seen on my screen. Then instead of just roll it out automaticly, nothing happened and my time kept on going until some point when it stopped for no reason. It is stuck in this situation and not even a turn over could get it moving again. Not even as the other coach left the game.

- Normal pass: Interception got stuck without the timer continued to run further on, no follow up, not able to view log, game had to be aborted.

- Playing multiplayer with my friend, who is playing Scaven. Every time he uses the pass skill to reroll a failed roll, and then succeeds as a result, my game locks up with his thrower still having the ball, and his game locks up with him completing the pass and waiting on me.

- Several times now my opponents have done a quick pass that seemed to succeed but nothing shows on my screen. Game hangs and nothing happens. I believe my opponent was able to continue with his turn because when I clicked on his players the blue circle which shows where they are was different to where the players were. As if he continued moving his players after the freeze.

3. Dump-Off

- I blitzed a guy with dump off, and then the dump off message appeared letting me know he was using the skill, but the timer for it was stuck at 29 seconds and the game just froze there, my guy never moved and he never handed off the ball. I could change options as well as close the game, but couldn't do anything on the field. I had to quit the game to resolve.

- When playing friendly match and blocking with disadvantage (the enemy chooses result of 2 dice) the roll for block dice happens twice with same result and result needs to be selected twice.

4. Blitz-Action

- (sometimes) To activate the Blitz-action you have to first click an enemy player after clicking "2", before being allowed to validate.

- When using a Rat Ogre for a blitz. I roll a 1 on Animal Savagery and hit one of my players. Then I go to continue my blitz and it doesn't let me click the opponents piece to block it. I have to manually run up to it, stand next to it then hold click to get the wheel up then click block.

5. Pro Reroll and Team-Reroll

- Pro reroll and team rerolls freeze the game during rush.

- Pro reroll just froze the game. I tried to pause the match and it seemed like it helped but then just froze again.

- Froze up when I had to choose the Reroll, because I clicked on the reroll, it disappeared but staid in the animation with the failed diceroll visible and that blue backround. The after-time counted down and then the choice to click on the reroll was visible again, but nothing happened by clicking on it. No possibility to get out of the game but to close the game completly, because the options were not available.

6. Grab

- "Grab" Skill works incorrect - it should work like work like "while making a Block Action, if his block results in a push back he may choose any empty square adjacent to his opponent to push back his opponent."

7. Claw/Mighty Blow

- Claw/Mighty blow does not work propper, if their AV is 9+ on a roll of 8 you should penetrate with Claw but if your roll does not actually beat their AV it still consumes your Mighty blow.

8. Wrestle

- I had Block and Wrestle on a player and it showed only Wrestle as an option when I was being attacked, instead of showing both.

9. Shadowing

- Played dark elves and the assisin has shadowing.
enmy leaved my tackle zone. wanted to use shadowing. choosen the skill on the assasin. and suddenly the skaven continued to run, in the middle the animation stopped and the "choose player for shadowin" countdown stopped and i couldnt choose anything anymore.
Game itself does not made a roll for shadowing or anything. Now i can listening to the moderator jim and bill but i cannot continue the macht. ofc "quit game" make me loose the game"
[Possible Sollution: Click on the player that does the shadowing.]

- Shadowing a player that is blitzing results in long distance blocking rather than them having to do several dodges, the block does not show in log, no dice are thrown just a result is listed.
Now i know the dice on screen dont matter, but i like to see em, makes the gamer in me feel like they where actually thrown.

10. Wizard

- When I use a fireball against the AI team, the opposing team gets a turnover and skips their entire turn. happens 100% of the time. not sure if it is an intended feature?

- Could not cancel after having selected the toad transformation.

- I'm sometimes not able to choose Fireball, but must instead choose Zap when activating the wizard.

- After the enemy screwed himself over and caused a turnover he proceeded to zap my ballcarrier and turn him into a frog. After his turn should have been over.
[Possibly intentional.]

- If I press the spell-casting icon during the opponents turn I'm locked into choosing a location for a fireball cast upon the start of my own. I never chose fireball or zap, and I cannot abort the spell-casting. While the fireball seemingly resolves as normal, I'm then unable to activate any of my players during my ensuing turn and can only choose to turnover.

11. Apothecary

- A player of mine died and he went straight past the apothecary without an option to reroll the result and into the morgue.

- I saw that after my apothecary's time ran out, I had no more chance to use any skill or apo until the turn was over.

- After I waited a few seconds without choosing my injury, it automaticly choosed something and I did not have a choice on any other skill-based defense-mechanism the rest of the turn. After the turn was over It was back to normal.

- Lined up a 2 opponent push into crowd with a frenzied Minotaur. First opponent was injured and apoth rolled to save from injury, team mate behind pushed into crowd and game froze as apoth roll was being done.

12. Armor-Break/Injuries

- The Armor-Throw does not always show the modifications of Mighty Blow in the log, probably only if the hit would actually go through.

- Neck Injury GIVES 1 agility instead of taking it (+ instead of -)

- Arm Injury GIVES 1 passing ability instead of taking it (+ instead of -)

13. Blitz-Kick-Off-Event-Reroll

- Don't know if it is supposed to be the case, but you cant use a reroll during a blitz kick off result.

14. Star-Player

- The wulf starplayer "lost" his chainsaw attribute. He was blocking normally, wasn't getting any modifier for the fouls.

- The Mighty Blow + 2 on star players like Morg does't seem to work. I only ever saw it on a normal +1

15. Dedicated Fans

- Conceding a match or a crash can result in a loss of dedicated fans. You cant even buy them back so If you bought 6/6 of them.. after bug i got stuck on 3/6. I have lost 1 or 3 fans at crash or closing game middle of match. It has happen Vs AI and PvP. Bug might happen if game had event what effected dedicated fans. Havent been able find reason what makes you lose them. Other people had this problem too.

16. Camera

- The camera suddenly flips around by sliding with the right mouse-button, so you have to adjust it again.
[Possible Origin: Sometimes a double-click on left or right button changes the camera-view.]

17. Jim's Apothecary Comment

- Jim uses the comment on apothecary "Here comes the Apo.." and "And the Apoth wanders in." before the beginning and during the kick-off, which is far after the apothecary was going on.



II. Campaign/AI-Matches

1. AI-Behavior

- Ai loves placing ball carrier in opponent tackle zones when caging is available. It is less tactical than BB2. If that was possible.

- AI never passes the ball. Only does the same box/square play. Played 50 matches now and not once seen a throw.
AI teams don't level up. Stays at same levels.
AI never gets Injuries or deaths
Have killed several and injured several that say they will have -1 stat and checking that team after a match there is no change to stats and 'Dead' players aren't dead
In campaigns you always play the same teams only. Even if there's 6 teams in the cup you play the same 3 only. No variety or mixing up of competition.
No record of stats and kills or touchdowns kept for your players.

2. Reroll

- Problem is, when AI choose between keep D6 result or use team re-roll if there is also pro variant it is just simply enters in endless loop.

- The AI has to choose from to use the Profi reroll or the normal reroll. But the AI does not decide, the screen stays forever and i am not able to continue the game.

- Ai has pro and gets a 2 way decision between Pro or team re-roll. Game freezes then crashes. They need to script it to give Pro a priority so no decision needed, just override decision is Pro is available.

3. Animation

- After blocking ball carrier the ball simply vanishes, at some point AI will pick it up or you run over it by accident, but you dont always have the time for such.

- On several occasions the ball and the blue indicator pointing to it disappear for a turn. If the ball was just knocked out of someones hands then this makes it impossible to find on the pitch until the turn has ended.

- If camera moves to ball carrier and ai opponent then moves a player to ball off camera then they about 50% of the time will slide in without animation.

4. Full-Black-Orks-Team

- IA black orks team with 9 black orks, when the limit is 6.

5. Progression

- Campaigns aren't unlocking after the 1st one cleared for some players (dunno why or how) achievements aren't unlocking for some as well.

- The campaign doesn't progress past the Pirates in offline mode.

- I never see any stats (score or MVP) on the match conclusion screen. This is true for both campaign and friendly match.

6. UIP - Unidentified Ingame Phenomenon

- When playing the AI in the third(final) match in the first non-tutorial campaign the game has crashed 3 out of 3 times. It's against the tentacled DE team. The only commonality between the crashes are that they happen during the animation of one of the dark elves on the AI team, during the first half, and freeze the game such that the only way I've found to resolve it is to ctrl+alt+del into tasks and end the BB3 process.

The animation that runs during the crash does not always happen as part of a die-roll, and the animations and turn number have been different each time. I haven't noticed whether or not it's the same particular player or positional each time, but it has not been the tentacled DE star player in any of my cases. Since the sample-size is small I don't know how consistent/incidental this bug is, but for me it's happened exclusively during this particular match so far.



III. Menue

1. Team-Building

- I bought 2 Extra-Rolls, but decided to leave one to buy more cheerleaders and assistance-trainers. But my money to buy them did not went down correctly after leaving one Extra-Roll off again. So I had to get out and start buying again.

2. SSP

- I hit cancel when selecting an spp ability beacuse i changed my mind and it still SPENT THE POINTS 16 points down the drain ... i tested it out on another charater with an ability i actually wanted and sure enough i hit cancel instead of confim and it still spent the points like i hit yes tried with other characters with 0 spp and it still acted like i tried to buy the ability tellign me i didnt have enough spp.

- When i spend SPP for anything the SPP amount does not update until i go back to team roster

3. Team-Customization

- Team and all is still there but the cosmetics are not on any player. I do have the option to equip the parts on other players, but the game sends me a warning "already equiped by another player", then shows me a list of players to deequip it from (that is normal i guess). Sadly "the other player" is non-existent, the list ist empty.

4. Syncronization

- When in a campaign menu and browsing an AI opponent's team, the client and server start to desync consistently. My client can not load up the team-data properly. And when going back to the previous menus, UI-elements does not load back up. I have to restart the game to regain menu-functionality.

- After accepting friend-requests I need to restart the game to have them show up on my friends-list.



IV. Steam/Technicals

- No Steam-Achievements unlock.

- I just finished first 2 competitions + tutorial so I assume I should unlock “Be The Big Guy!”, “All aboard the fun board” and “It just tastes bitter” right...
I can also see that I didn’t unlocked “First of many” which is to do just a single touchdown (I made many already in the game).

- DLSS parameter doesn't save. It reverts to default on every reboot.



And btw. the biggest bug of all is still explained in my totally serious discussion about dead players, adviced to read to the end. :handhorns::

A couple more things:
2. Black Orcs Team roster cheating AI-when you select a 1,000,000 team it'll magic up 9 Black Orcs - if you want a good chance of having your team injured heavily. but initial work around is to select a higher team value it tends to only select 6 BOs and beefs up the gobbos...
Got it, but I think if it's in campaign it could be intentional.
4. Please can they fix the ball marker issue... it is very annoying having to zoom in and check who is carrying the ball.
What do you mean? I always see where the ball is through that blue marker...
To use chainsaw you have to hold mouse button and chose his skill

Just to make sure, when shadowing you clicked on your guy after the shadowing was announced? Because you have to choose the guy who is shadowing after you clicked on the skill for some reason.... hrm.. probably for the situation when you have more than one shadowing-guy at the scene..

There was only 1 shadowing guy (I was blitzing, the shadowing guy was my opponent's).

I double clicked directly on the faraway target of the blitz --> my pro elf blitzer dodged away from the shadowing guy --> the shadowing guy successfuly shadowed my blitzer --> instead of making a second dodge, my player stayed in place and at the same time made the block on the faraway target, once I picked the result of the block the game froze until my timer ran out and my turn was thus skipped.
And the bugged block I made from faraway resulted to nothing.

Xbox one version - my new created teams and old teams get buffed and all players got 36 spp to spend .... wtf?
