Blood Bowl is split into two halves of sixteen turns each (eight team turns per coach, per half)
Standard competitive time limit is 2 minutes per turn, each side gets 16 turns (for 32 total), and 7.5 minutes per side of pooled additional time. So assuming each side uses every single second available to them (which is obviously ridiculous), the longest a game can go now, assuming ties are allowed, is 1hr 19min.
But, realistically, it's going to go shorter than that. Some turns will not have enough to do to reasonably take the whole 2 minutes, or a Turnover will occur that ends the turn early. I'd say BB3 games will usually last between 45min and 1hr. Why? THE CLOCK NEVER STOPS. That is the single biggest change I notice. In the older BB games the clock would stop after you gave an order while an animation played out... most notably that if you ordered Player X to move from A to B, the game's timer would pause while Player X ran from A to B. In BB3 the clock will keep running through the entire animation.
If you're a new player, this can likely feel daunting and pressuring, because you do need to move fast... make fast decisions and execute them quickly on your turns. I recommend getting used to planning out your turns during your opponent's turns, so you have maximum time to execute your strategy and minimum time having to plan. Get used to unselecting players immediately after giving them an order and moving on to another one rather than waiting for their animation to play out.
around 30 min if play again bot
pvp is a whole difference world as it could end up as a brawl where 2 team try to kill each other than winning the game lol
