When swapping between offline and online a pop up appears that states the following:
' Warning: Online and Offline modes are two different things! Your progress, teams your create, as well as unlocked content can only be used in the game mode that you are playing...'
I also confirm that my Online team and armour bits haven't exported to offline mode
While leveling in BB2 it involved RNG; the current BB3 leveling there is no RNG. Simply save up the SP and you can buy the skills that relate to your faction and you can even buy Stat point upgrades. Of course saying this, while I can empathise about not having much time available, it requires playing the game unfortunately
It took me 2.5 hours before I managed to actually got to play a friendly game against the AI, without having to set it to offline.. and up until then the default teams weren't even selectable. it just bounched back to 'Start Match' after a minute or so, offline it started at once.
Overall it's quite fun, but everything takes sooo much time when connected to online mode.
I'm not talking about hacking game files or cheating. I'm talking about a standard feature in BB2 where you can make a team then level it up in any way you wanted for offline play. Our gaming groups LOVES this because we can create all kinds of fun/crazy teams to pit against each other. If BB3 lacks this feature that's a paddling.
Create a custom team, with experienced players, will probably be possible in several month...
They have so much to do before...
Ok thank you! I'll leave a scathing review and get a refund. I've spent the last hour reading the posts and looking into just how abysmal this turned out. What a sad waste after all these years. *shrugs* At least we still have BB2 and it's fantastic =)
