Lost Companion

Anyone else have a companion go missing after a mission? After recruiting Mikael, Sachko, and Olga, Olivier went missing after a mission. A brief cutscene where Igor says he is late, and tries to call him on the radio, to which he does not answer. I thought this was an interesting twist. My standing with him was good, and I liked him enough as a character. I thought maybe a mission would should up, like "Search for" or "Rescue" Olivier, but after another night of that same cutscene, I began to become worried. After another couple nights, I feared the worst. Would he come back? Was he dead? Where was he when he went missing? Could I find him if I went looking? Can ALL of my companions go missing?
Not complaining, it just came as a surprise and I'm interested to see how it works and how this develops.

I had Mikel quit on me after a mission when I was supposed to shot down a helicopter. I refused and Mikael quit and was gone when I came back.
Sasko or Sachko or what ever hes name is I sacked after he was rude and threatening haha! Don't know if that ruined the game for me but now it's just food and medecin drops mission....on and on and on.

Don't get this game....

@thelionhearted Did you try to led soldiers capture you? They'll probably take you somewhere where they hold prisoners...
@Portello You haven't broken anything. One day the game will give you the chance to fix all your mistakes.

@Legilg Yes I noticed that haha! Kept on going and all of sudden a explosion happend and I was dead. Changed two memories and Sashko and Mikael was back and it was day 2 again...haha you guys very funny! :)

I didn't even think of that. The only time I was captured was that mission a bomb blasted me out the window. I've always resisted and managed to get away. Man, that is brilliant. I will try that next time!

So this time I really did run into a problem. I rescued Olivier, but after completing the mission, it still says he is lost. He appears in my base, I can talk to him, I can train with him, and I can even send him on missions in the morning, but the post-mission report stills he is lost, won't reward him for the missions I send him on, and I can't give him rations. It has now been 3 days (in-game) and I'm not sure what to do.

Something is clearly wrong. Please, report it to "bug reports" and we'll take care of it.

When you die, everything should start working properly.

I want to rescue Olivier too...but he's still at the base with everyone else here. And now it's really quiet, for 11 days now we have just gone out on missions to get food, medecin, ammo. Nothing is happening?

Every memory is green and I tried to change some memories but then I couldn't get out of memory place? Changed back the memories and got out to base but now nothing is happening.
