I know the UE4 doesn't natively support Ultrawide, it offers a 16:9 view cropped. But another game like Insurgency Sandstorm also runs on UE4 and delivers perfect 21:9 support :)
It's very important for a first person game to deliver a good aspect ratio or it can lead to motion sickness.
If a modder can do it via a Hex edit, i'm sure you lot can sort it out. Jackfuste has corrected the aspect ratio on many games. Including many UE4 engine games (Vampyr, State of decay 2 to name a few). It would be great if you could. I do want this game, but after seeing that i dont think i can play it the way it is currently. It cant be that hard to fix if you're familiar with the engine surely.
Maybe this can help you guys.
