Do you have a controller/gamepad connected to your pc? Had the same issue. When you unplug the gamepad, it works fine.

UPD: had virtual gamepad vjoy installed, disabling it and restarting pc helped.

Hi Ashedrew, I have found this exact problem with several games, however, many games are able to provide mouse/key support even with a gamepad (or joystick in my case) plugged in. Its awkward having to root around behind my PC before and after playing particular titles. Its not really designed to be plugged in and out over and over.

Is it totally unavoidable? It surely isnt intended behaviour.

same here after I activated the controller option, I'm unable to deactivate it and my controller isn't working. Wheres the text file located to deactivate it manually?

Can't turn ON/OFF my wired xbox 360 controler, and plug/unplug every time i want to play is not a proper solution to this issue, plz give us an option to disable the gamepad in game like other games, or do something to override the autodectection if we press some keyboard key (like other games too).

Sorry to ear that, most of us have this bug when we have plugged a controler, and the "fix" is unpluged it but a real fix has not been given from devs, yet.

i have the same issue, any way to fix it? (no cursor, i have a wireless gamepad, it is not active/on... i can play every other game fine, this game to cursor to even start...

same issue. no controller in, no virtual controller or anything. Mouse appears for a second when i press quite and when it first launches but thats it.
