Hello everyone!

We have now deployed a hotfix to resolve a series of critical and major bugs. More work is in progress, but we wanted to deploy these as soon as possible:
Multiplayer updated for improve online stability in draft phases during all ages.
Tutorial blocker issues fixed in chapter 9 and in chapter 11.
Multiple localisation issues fixed
Bot swap after a forfeited player left is now functional.
Multiple online multiplayer game flow interruptions fixed.

We are working hard on the many of the issues already reported by players, we are now focusing on a new series of fixes that will be released in the upcoming days.

Hello everyone,

Thank you everyone for your reviews and feedback, we apologize for the state of the game and we are taking this matter very seriously.

We have now deployed a new hotfix v1.0.23fed0 (Mac Build version : 1.0 4d75c5) fixing the following bugs and issues:

- Fixed a network blocker in Gods’ Gift Phase in multiplayer games.
- Main Menu performance optimization
- Adjusted graphic setting presets to increase performance on lower graphic settings
- Stabilization fixes in online games

Our main priority it to fix the stability and multiplayer game issues. This is why we are currently focusing on the most urgent and critical bugs.

What we are working on currently :
- Protobuff exception error(onlien tech tool) ( happens when a player takes longer to join the game while others start drafting before he/she connects)
- Disconnection handling
- Starting round exception for private games in some cases

In the next week, we will continue our work on stability, AI and online issues as well as overall optimization and localization bugs.
Additional features are under planification and a more complete roadmap will be available as soon as possible.

Everyone at Asmodee Digital and Exozet is all hands on deck to turn Blood Rage into a great experience

macOS build version 1.0 3e016b

We addressed the following in this hotfix :
- Protobuff issue has been fixed
- Blocker issueon Hildisvini when played with 0 rage left has been fixed
- A blocker that could occur when calculating additionnal strength has been fixed

Next steps are:
- Disconnect handling issue
- More performance work

- fixed an issue in multiplayer where an event could be sent twice blocking the gamelogic.
- Fixed a blocker when Hildisvini was played and all villages were occupied in a region

Here are today's fixes:
  • Fixed a Blocker if AI wanted to play a ship upgrade and had the sea serpent monster equiped
  • Fixed a Blocker if AI had Frigga's Domain and Frigga's Sacrifice equipped and tried to sacrifice figures
  • Fixed a Blocker if AI had Ymir equipped+planted on the board and tries to overwrite Ymir with another monster
  • Fixed a Blocker if AI tried to play Hildisvini
  • Added label "Ranked Game" to ranked game room previews.

  • Fixed several issues blocking play in Multiplayer
  • Qutting multiplayer will now correctly replace you with an AI
  • The AI will no longer get stuck when playing Monster cards
  • The AI has been improved. It can now correctly perform certain actions and shouldn't get stuck anymore
  • GPU resource costs for Blood Rage: Digital Edition have been reduced
  • We updated the disconnect and reconnect system
  • Ingame optimization regards the ingame menu rendering

Here is the list of the fixes deployed this update.

Change Log

Visibility and UI:

  • Figures and slots on the island are bigger for improved visibility on the map
  • Confirmation overlays are displayed when starting a battle and playing a battle card
  • Language selection is now possible in-game through the ‘Settings’ in the ‘Main Menu’
  • A glory gain animation has been added at the end of the match to visualize the end game glory gain
  • Started matches of other players are visible in the lobby

Gameplay:

  • Last remaining human player is the winner of a match, regardless if he played to the end or left the game earlier
  • In multiplayer matches, players do not have to wait for other players to confirm the battle outcome to continue and/or start their turn

Here are the bug fixes released with this update.

Change Log

  • Green and orange circles around Ymir when selecting him or selecting another figurine from the same province are now visible
  • The image in the "Figure limit" prompt in the tutorial is now in the proper resolution
  • The "Keep none" prompt for one player when finishing a phase with one card is now visible
  • The user can no longer move their clan banner off-screen in the Player Profile
  • In the Player Profile, the Serpent Clan's text was overflowing its allocated space in the Most Played Clan's stats (fixed)
  • The word "cards" was not highlighted when selecting another section and going back to it (fixed)
  • The user was unable to use "w,a,s,d" after force quitting the game and then continuing the match (fixed)
  • Sometimes, the STR of battle cards did overlap the text during the Discard phase (fixed)
  • During draft phase, some battle cards may have display overlapping text (fixed)
  • The sixth card and above in the player's hand was overlapping when hovering over the first card in his hand (fixed)
  • The "Select all" was not highlighted when selected in the Mythical Monsters menu (fixed)
  • Cards of the opponent clan's information were displayed during the transition to the next player in local multiplayer (fixed)
  • The amount of glory rewarded by the card "Loki's Domain" was given to the wrong player (fixed)
  • Player could not move the God after a battle (fixed)
  • On MAC and slow devices, Gods' Gift was blocked in single player if a guest player was in the game (fixed)
  • When a player is replaced by an AI, notification for other players has been added (fixed)
  • Gamer tags of players who joined the user's last game in Multiplayer remained visible when hovering the first seat (fixed)
  • Selecting mythical monsters and switching tabs caused them to be displayed as not selected even though they were (fixed)
  • Two versions of the same mythical monster appeared as selected when selecting one and dragging out of the "Choose" window (fixed)
  • The images on the mythical monsters cards displayed in the compendium and in matches appeared blurry (fixed)
  • Game flow sometimes stopped during a battle in local multiplayer with more than two players (fixed)
  • Only the prompts "Confirm" and "Skip" were displayed when playing Thor's Domain (fixed)
  • The Thor's Domain card was not displayed when the choice to pillage for 2 rage was displayed (fixed)
  • Frigga's Succor card was not displayed when the ability was available, only a cancel button was shown (fixed)
  • When finishing a phase with one card, the card was not centered in the Discard Phase (fixed)
  • SFX when placing figurines on the board in the tutorial was missing (fixed)
  • Cards can be seen-through when dragged to the top of the screen based on the zoom's intensity (fixed)
  • Playing the card "Heimdal's Sight" in a combat resulting in a draw was causing a softlock (fixed)
  • Overlap was seen on the player's turn banner in French, Italian and German when displaying clan's name while playing against AIs (fixed)
  • Hovering the "Cancel Info" button in the Info menu was not highlighting the button (fixed)
  • When Ragnarok changes province due to Garm or Fenrir, the original target was keeping the warning
  • Placing Hildisvini in one of the monster slots while the maximum number of unit was reached was still adding it to the total units in play (fixed)
  • The Gamelog displayed the starting player twice (fixed)
  • The Glory earned on the result screen was not updated with the Glory stats (fixed)
  • In the compendium, scrolling in a tab affected the other tabs, causing them to not start at the beginning (fixed)
  • In the tutorial IX, there was a delay for the discard menu when asked to choose one card to keep (fixed)
  • The Warning message was triggered even when the player couldn't play the card (fixed)
  • When withdrawing to Yggdrasil with the Volur Witch, the card was not displayed and it showed that it would cost 1 rage (fixed)
