Inviting Friends in Private Games & Known Issues

We heard a lot of you have questions regarding the invitation system and how to create private games, so here is a "How to" in order to help you.

Please also note we are aware of the issues you guys have been encountering with the invitation system and have been working on it.
We made a server update yesterday in order to try and solve it, so let us know how it works now!

Back to "How to receive invites and invite friends to private games" now!
Here are the conditions to receive an invitation from a friend to enjoy a private skirmish together:

• Both Steam accounts must be friends to each other
  
  
• Your Asmodee account (you can create one here: https://account.asmodee.net/en/signin) must be linked to your Steam account (which happens automatically the first time you log in).
  Please note that while you do not need to link the accounts to play online, as said above, you must link your Steam and Asmodee.net accounts in order to play with your Steam friends.
  You can also do that by signing into your Asmodee.net account and linking the two here: https://account.asmodee.net/en/profile/otheraccounts
  
  
• You must be in the lobby to receive the invite.
  When you are on the main menu, you are not (yet) connected to the server
  
  
• You can be in the process of creating a game while being invited, but you won't see the popup then.
  Instead, the game will appear in the list of available games in the lobby with a label: "Invited". Clicking on the game will display the invitation popup.

Now when it comes to how to invite friends in a game:

1. To invite a player to a private game, click on "Multiplayer" and create a game.
2. In the empty available slot (the banner next to your avatar), click on "Invite a friend".
3. Add your friend to the game and click on "Invite" again if you wish to invite more.
If your Steam friends are connected and fulfilling all of the above conditions, you'll be able to see them on the right hand side list.

You also have the option in private games to add AIs to your skirmish.
When creating your private game, either invite a new friend or add an AI to the dedicated slot.

We have 2 Windows 10 computers and one Windows 7 Computer. If we host on the Windows 10 computer, when the Windows 7 computer clicks "accept" nothing happens. If the Window 7 computer hosts, then it works.
