1. General

1.1 What is Firestone Idle RPG?
Firestone is an idle role-playing game set in the fantasy world of Alandria, where undead and orc forces have gathered for the first time in millennia to bring chaos and disorder to the realm. This time, they possess the great power of the firestones. Your aim is to stop them and reclaim the firestones. The king has trusted you to assemble a company of heroes to aid the cause. Venture across the world to find your future companions.

Make sure you login to your platform first and then start the game from the platform.

1.3 Can I switch between the different platforms?
At the moment it's not possible to transfer accounts between platforms. You'll have to start a completely new account in order to play on a different platform. However, there are some helpful tools:
- If you play on Steam, you can use SteamLink to play remotely, which however requires your computer to be running.
- f you play on mobile, you can use an emulator (like Google Play Games, Bluestacks or Nox) to also play on your computer.
- If you let the game run on your home computer, you can also access it with remote apps like Anydesk or Chrome remote desktop.

You can play the game on any of these servers with your platform account. All servers feature identical gameplay, but have different player progress and mulitplayer features (game chat, leaderboards, guilds and fellowships).

1.5 What timezone does the game operate in?
Daily quests, daily rewards and daily missions all reset at 10:00 am your local time. Global events, like the Chaos Rift or the seasonal events, start at the same time (in CET/CEST) for everyone.

1.6 Are scripts/autoclicker allowed?
The only automation scripts allowed are auto clickers. Anything that changes how the game works is against the rules.

1.7 Can i play in my own language?
You probably can, the game fully supports 16 languages: english, russian, german, portuguese, spanish, french, polish, greek, turkish, danish, finnish, swedish, chinese (simplified and traditional), japanese and korean.

1.8 What are the hotkeys in the game?

2. Game

2.1 I am a new player where i can learn more

2.2 When should I prestige?
As a rule of thumb do not prestige unless you gain at least +100% firestones. Other than that prestige when it is convenient for you and you have the time to get back to your farming stage.

2.3 What is the difference between offline and online?
Not working for offline gains calculation are:

• enemy attacks
  
• player abilities
  
• meteorite gain beyond 10h (12h with max night watch)
  
• enemy/boss kill count (for achievements)

Not working for gold item gains calculation in addition to all the above are:

• all meteorite storm/mysterious rock upgrades
  
• amulet of sky
  
• any beer gain

2.4 What should I spend my gems on?
At this moment most players would say tavern, since it impacts all aspects of the game, or dragon blood. We also recommend getting some amulets first.

2.5 What are golden keys used for?
You will get golden keys in the tavern and you can use them to buy amulets in the shop or to upgrade ancient artifacts.

2.6 Which is the best amulet?
There is no best amulet since all serve a purpose. Depending on your play style we recommend to get at least these amulets:

• with $ or gems: Exploration and Cartography
  
• with golden keys: Luck

If you are playing very actively, the amulets which increase your research (Knowledge, Alchemy and Sky) or your daily resource gains (Liberation, Seven and Astrology) are also recommended. If you have limited time to play, get the amulets which help with map missions (Conquest and War).

2.7 Which Guardian should I chose?
All guardian auras are in permanent use so you do not lose anything. Just remember to save 300 dust to evolve Grace once she reaches lvl 10. Then Vermilion and, later, Ankaa should take priority since raining gold and prestigious are better than all attributes. Also leveling Azhar will be helpful in the Chaos Rift.

2.8 What is the exact formula for gaining xp?
xp = (mantissa/10 + exponent) * 3000
where
firestones = mantissa * 10^exponent

2.9 What is the exact formula for offline gold gains?
avg hero speed = (hero 1 speed + … + hero 5 speed) / 5
avg attacks per sec = 5 / avg hero speed

avg hero dmg = (hero 1 dmg + … + hero 5 dmg) / 5
avg attacks per kill = 1 + floor(enemy health / avg hero dmg)

avg kills per sec = avg attacks per sec / avg attacks per kill
avg gold per sec = avg kills per sec * gold per kill

offline gold = avg gold per sec * offline time (sec)

2.10 When will the next game server be opened?
The opening of new servers is based on the population, not on specific time frames. It's a thin line having a healthy population on a server and at the same time not having huge progress gaps between new players and players that joined on the 1st day of a new server.

2.11 Why does my leader have lower stats than my other party members?
The leader of the party gets a 50% bonus to all attributes, but there are also "Leadership" and "Team Bonus" researches (in firestone trees, exotic upgrades, talent tree, tavern cards, artifacts and guild tree) which affect the attributes of your party members. If the team bonus is large enough, the leader will have lower stats than the other party members.
