I love exploring good open world games to the fullest, but the lack of the jumping ability makes it really uncomfortable and time consuming.
I don't care if jumping would take my stamina, hunger or fatigue. Even if we could only do one costly jump every 10 seconds, that still would immensely help with exploration.
If you are worried about players abusing it to get out of bounds, using the "stuck" exploit already does that pretty well, so the jumping ability wouldn't harm much more. And if you think that players will accidently get out of bounds because some spots seem like they are made for jumping, you could perhaps make that ability an optional part of the settings?
This might be an unnecessary amount of work for something that a lot of players will probably ignore, but i hope you will consider it if you ever get to the point when you are done with anything more important.
Personally, i have finished the game, and to me the lack of jumping was the most memorable problem, because of how much more time and effort it took to explore anything interesting. It's the only feature i really wish to see in this otherwise awesome game.
Also, a couple of anomalies bug reports:
The location with a bunch of garages has walls without collision in two of the middle garages, and i've had 3 mimics hide in there and shoot me through the walls.
The pen on the handheld map becomes ungrabbable after you take out the map and put it back once. You have to reload your save to fix it.
The roof in the docks is unreachable without exploits because part of the construction that leads towards the roof has no collision.
I have a rift s and it works very good. What graphics card do you have? Dlss has made this game run really really good for me.
