Hands offset forward 1-2 inches
I just got this game so I have no idea if this is by design or not but it certainly feels like an issue. I can't play because the hands in game are so far off from where my controller is. FWIW I use a Vive and the controllers start flashing white when entering this game and it is the only game that does this

We checked Vive controllers on our side and this is what we think might be the reason of the situation. In-game hands are indeed a bit longer than the IRL ones. In-game they should end in the same place/at the same length as your controllers IRL. Vive's controllers have big upper parts and without this offset they would bump into each other while handling weapons.

If you have examples of how it works in other shooter games with weapon interactions, let us know, maybe we'll be able to figure something out.

In other shooters they simple have the hand where you're holding the controller and it works completely fine. The way it is now in ITR is so off putting.
The hands seem to be correct when holding an item or weapon, but not when they're empty, when your hand is empty its inches from where it should.
I'm no dev but it seems like empty hands have different coordinates relative to the controller than a hand thats holding something.

Please fix it, I want to play my favourite VR game again.
