Artifacts floating outside backpack and despawning at base.
UPDATE: I did some testing with my theories, nothing seemed to cause the artifacts to float outside the backpack until I noticed where I was putting the artifacts. It seems that if the artifact is even slightly outside the storage box of the backpack it causes it to glitch out and float outside of the backpack and become non-interactive once you take it off again. Other items aside from regens and night eyes do not appear to have this happen to them.

It's happened to me more than a few times at this point. I'm not entirely sure what causes it, but it's specifically with the night eye and regen artifacts from what I've seen. On occasion when I put them in my backpack and then open up my backpack later on I see that the artifact is floating outside of my backpack.

I carry my AD-15 Detector on my chest, and with the artifact floating there it causes the thing to go absolutely crazy as if I can reveal it or pick it up, but when I go to pick it up nothing happens. If I pick it up in the original place I put it in my backpack nothing happens. I can't use the AD-15 Detector on it either. It just floats there for an eternity until I trigger a loading zone like going back to Vanno, but at that point it disappears into thin air. It doesn't drop to the ground or anything, it's just not there anymore and my AD-15 Detector stops bleeping altogether.

The only things I can hypothesize that cause it is some weird physics bug while taking off my backpack, putting things in there, and then put it back over my shoulder all in one motion without ever releasing my grip on the backpack. Or if it's a bug afflicting specifically the regen and night eye artifacts where if they're too close together or stacked on top of each other in the backpack that they get glitched out, despite me being able to cram a whole bunch of literally every other item in the game on top of each other in the backpack without issue, including other artifacts.

On a somewhat related note, there seems to be a hard cap to how many of each artifact you can have on your shelves back at base. I've only witnessed it with blank artifacts and night eye artifacts, but if there is 6 of each in your base and you bring back more from The Zone those artifacts will despawn based on how many you bring back to keep the amount at 6. I'm not sure if this is intentional to have the game run more smoothly and utilize less resources since the artifacts don't decay or anything to my knowledge, but I can have well over a dozen of any other item at any given time without them despawning such as food items, bullets, ammo boxes etc etc.

Both artifacts floating and a limit on how many you can bring back seem to be a bug. Thanks for sharing, forwarding it all to the team!

I've had this happen once before, with a Night eye. Put the artifact into my bag, and thought it was fine, but it had disappeared. Re-entered the zone and every time I took my bag off, the detector went nuts. Sometimes the artifacts will float outside the bag, or be invisible like if you hadn't scanned them yet. Scan it, and it appears and it is able to be picked up. So far only had this happen once, but a good way to get it sorted out.

As an added note: Even if you just go back to camp and try to scan it while in camp, it won't work since the game doesn't render hidden artifacts in the base, you have to go back to the zone to do so.

i want to add , items disappearing - food , drink , ammo , every thing actually .
except flash light , detector , guns , mags
not tested flair
