Quest 3 version vs Steam version

Hello everyone! I am completely new to VR so I just want to make sure I got this right:
I got the portable quest version of ITR. I love it and I am about to be SEC4
I just now discovered that there is a Steam version too. So there are 2(?) versions of the game?
Does it mean the steam version has better graphics but is at risk of stuttering or low fps because it has to run on a beefy computer? Thats what I assume. Also how about gameplay mechanics? Is there anything else different than the platform and probably graphics?

I am sure this will apply to other VR games too but this is the only game I play I enjoy it so much and if you were to tell me that the steam version is even better I would ♥♥♥♥ my pants from joy

Version on Quest is same content wise as last build of ITR on Steam but here you can download 1.0 version from beta branch which is basically another game. Different map which is huge and not segmented in smaller chunks (with some areas reused on final build), different missions, some unique enemy encounters and much more dense atmosphere. I like it over the final build despite it is bit more junky at moments.
