getting lag holding weapons with two hands
this lag occurs ONLY when holding a weapon with two hands. my controllers get delay, and i also have delay in-between shots. when i hold it with one hand, i can rapid fire just fine.

SPECS:
32 GB DDR5 RAM
Ryzen 5 7600x
GTX 1660 TI
Rift S
Windows 11 (fresh install as of yesterday)
EDIT: i have it plugged into a USB 3.2 port as well

temps are fine and utilization is too. i just upgraded my computer and installed oculus. on my previous computer it worked just fine so i'm not sure what's happening here. i am using oculus to run the game and not steam VR, and batteries are fresh in the controller

so i found that force grabbing items causes a slight jitter too. however, if i hold the gun with my left hand and support with my right, there is no lag present. it is only laggy if i hold the gun with my right hand and support with my left. such a weird issue, i do not have this problem in any other game.

bump, still having this issue. virtually every other game works fine including other VR games.

i have reinstalled ITR multiple times, verified integrity, wiped every bit of data concerning the game, and the problem persists.

Same here.. I thought it was my computer until I reinstalled Windows and made any possible physical fix & through the Oculus App but nothing worked.
Every time I pick up my Deagle, AK-74, SKS, Kar-98 my trigger hand goes berserk for a second and comes back to place.

I just found out the USB 3.1 on my motherboard was not allowing full data transfer. Since when you pick up items, the game essentially sends information back to the headset to make the controller vibrate which causes a hitch in the data transfer. Typically all the information is sent to the game but not when haptic feedback is involved.

My fix: Use a PCIe USB 3.0 hub from Amazon that has a dedicated power inlet.

*I already had one but I thought my new motherboard would be more stable.. Guess not.
What is weird is I spent 30 hours in Half-Life:Alyx and never got those hitches.

do you use a VR gun stock (a physical one) ?

If so, it's a know issue with TOP mounted gunstocks, as it may interfer with the right hand tracking. Prefer bottom mounted ones.

No lag on my end using a bottom mounted gunstock.

it's weird that no other VR game gives me this issue but i'll investigate this
