I don't think so. Just because a game is available on multiple storefronts, doesn't mean you get the other storefront's version. So buying it on the Meta storefront and wanting to also be able to get Steam achievements (or whatever) doesn't work.

I guessed so. Would like to play on the Quest mobile while on christmas holidays and play ITR with better graphics in Steam/PCVR when back at home. Some games offer this solution but seems it is only a few.

I have both versions (Quest standalone and Steam PC) but the saves, etc are not cross-platform. Totally separate and independent versions.

Is the PC version a high enough jump in graphics to make it better?

Absolutely.. The graphics of the PC version is noticeably better, especially with regards to grasses/shrubs, fog, and textures. The gameplay itself is almost identical, with the only (minor) difference I've noticed is that gun maintenance in the Quest version is easier compared to the PC version.

Not to say that the Quest graphics are bad, but the PC's is better.

Looked up some comparison videos too, decided to go with the steam version. Great game.

Went with the Steam version, considering that in case that I ever purchase a headset in the future from another company, you will still always have access to your steam games.

I was not sure if playing wireless might be a issue with SteamVR but with 5G it seems to handle fine without having to deactivate the internet despite the headset telling me to do.
