Can I play this version on Meta quest 2?

Hi, I was looking into buying this game for my quest 2 during a sale, but after extensive searching I haven't been able to figure out whether I can play the steam version of into the radius on quest or not. Does anybody know if I can or If I HAVE to get the quest exclusive version?

No. You buy the version only for Steam. If you want to play separately on the quest without a PC, then you need to buy the game in the quest store.

You can play ITR via Quest 2 but only via airlink, cable or VD with that steam version.

do you have a gaming computer? if yes, then yes you can play this version streamed to your quest. if No, then no you cannot play this version. this is the PCVR version.

The Quest 2 version keeps all of the core mechanics and sounds, but the graphics are toned down. They're not bad by any means, but you don't have things like volumetric fog, long sight distances and there's not nearly as many bushes, etc. However it is still fun to play. The enhanced version for the Quest 3 has better textures and a bit more bling. Still not as good as the PC version, but it's pretty good.

Gun maintenance is WAY easier on the standalone Q2/Q3 version.

I have both versions. I only have maybe 20 hours on the Q2/Q3 version, but 330+ on the PC version ... guess which one I prefer :)

I play the PC version on my Quest headsets over Virtual Desktop using a dedicated router. It works flawlessly.
