Slider In Pervomay

I was in Pervomay doing the Marauder 6 mission in the floating cabin and the haze when I start hearing this boom noise. First I think its a stomper but there no dust, next I think its a flower anomaly but the description do not say anything about the noise, next I start looking at the orb in the sky thing it was exploding but it was not. Then when I leave the haze I see a slider coming at me. Is this normal for this mission, or once you reach level 5, or was it just a glitch?

Yeah I have met a few sliders where they usually won't be while doing missions, so I guess it's normal.
They are spawned specifically for the mission.
