Attachments and repairs
Either I cant read or im just installing things wrong but can there be a way to tell which gun can take which attachment when we use the inspect button? Also either im doing it wrong or can items like knives and magazines not be repaired with WD-40 and brushing?

Magazines and guns can be cleaned with oil and a toothbrush, but only if they are in the blue or yellow condition rating (Greater than 50% durability remaining). If the condition is in the red, they can only be repaired by paying for it.

Knives and other items cannot be repaired using oil, and you must pay for repairs.

Paid repairs are both good and bad. I don't think you recover the cost of the repair when you sell an item (but it's been a while since I've actually checked). That's the bad.

The good is that the cost of repair is way cheaper than buying that item new. You can use this to your advantage... I "repair" food cans for cheaper rations, for example.

I agree that some of the descriptions in the store are a bit vague regarding what attachments go where, but many are straight forward... you can't use a NATO attachment of a Russian gun, for example. Pistol attachments are a bit of an exception, and the only pistol that doesn't take any attachments is the TT. And the PM only accepts a silencer. Pistol attachments are otherwise bilingual (russion or englis weapons)

Thanks for clearing that up for me, i was trying to shove a laser sight on the PM for a bit and just thought it was just a bug. Also kinda sad that the TT cant put it on but eh oh well.

As far as pistols go, the GSh, OC-33, or Glock are very good. You can silence them, add laser pointers, and/or a reflex sight. Personally I bounce back and forth between the Glock and the GSh.

The m9 has more durability than glock

I would love to be able to repair something from red. I scavenge and find most of my weapons in the radius instead of buying them, and just paying to repair them doesn't feel as rewarding as manually cleaning them.
