2.0 and saves
currently quite enjoying the game but kinda wanted to fiddle with the beta update for a bit. Will using the beta version delete my 1.0/"vanilla" save? It says it will delete previous *beta* saves but it never hurts to be absolutely sure before testing

The 1.0 and 2.0 saves are basically independent. You can play the 2.0 beta, opt out of it, and go back to your 1.0 saves where you left off.

I would suggest when in doubt, prevent:
In 1.0 your saves are located in:
(X:)\Users\(X)\Documents\My Games\IntoTheRadius\saves
where X = whatever your name or drive is.
(might be the same for 2.0)
Back 'em up and you should be able to get them back if you switch between 2.0 and 1.0, updates notwithstanding.
I think the next update will blip your saves, just like the last one, and the one before it.
In a beta, I think what this is teaching me is that things are transient.

Bring on the updates. I have screenshots to prove how much time I've spent here...
