After updating 1 Major and a few key engine elements, I struggled with some back end bugs.

*Once the bugs were worked out, I was able to continue relative development. Mainly some graphical and performance issues. The game should run much more smooth on lower end machines with little to no problems.

*I have begun working on a new map as well as the escape game-mode.
You should see both in a patch around the first or second week of May 2019.

PATCH NOTES: ALPHA v2.6

In preparation of launching a new map and new mission, I have changed of few post processing effects, including lights and ambient.

*These are temporary changes.

*Further decreased the spawn rate of the bombing run while on "easy" mode.

*Increased the health of the Command Center.

BUG FIXES:

• Still finding quite a few bugs. I'm able to recreate some of them, but until I can recreate others, some bugs are still existing.

COSMETIC:

• Modified the rewards section of the Mission Brief to correctly identify what you will receive once the mission is completed successfully.
  
• Completely removed the Alpha 1.0 version of the tutorial.

GAME-PLAY:

• Continued balancing the "easy" mode for the "Waves" missions.

ROAD-MAP:

• Waves, Normal and Hard.
  
• New Mode, (Escape).

Alpha v2.0

The time has come to share this with everyone! Of course all feedback is welcome, but keep in mind that this game is in alpha and is in the process of solo development. Expect regular updates, some bigger than others. Regular updates about once or twice per week, and bigger updates once or twice per month. Full release and completion should be mid 2019.

VISUALS

• As you know, the game was not meant to have crazy detailed graphics, rather a exaggerated cartoon appeal. As I work toward delivering this concept, please note small changes now and again to brightness or contrast and shading. Most likely intended.. but who knows!

COMBAT

• Added slightly more speed to the rockets, both enemy and friendly.
  
• Increased timer delay for EMP rockets (these things are OP!)

DRONE

• Completely new overhaul of the "drones" HUD. This is more in line with the futuristic appeal.
  
  
• Tweaked some of the controls to give the drone a little more responsiveness.
  
  
• Drone initiating sequence and visuals have been altered.
  
  
• The drone now overlays the battlefield with grid-lines to give you more of the augmented reality feel.

GAME-PLAY

• The enemy have peppered the field with gray smoke canisters to conceal their movement! You will now see a grayish haze or "Fog of War". This is intentional for now, and in the process of developing better results.
  
  
• A concept of a new enemy combatant (The Tunneler) has been in the works. Tho the Tunneler is not yet implemented in to the game, the concept feature of tunneling is. Your enemy will try to find weak spots in the terrain to achieve their final destination more quickly and quietly. "This is where Radars will come in handy!"

TEMPORARY FEATURE

If you hit the escape key while in the "Company Overview" UI (Research, Inventory ect...) you will see a button that says "NEW GAME" in the popup menu. By selecting this you will be restart the game as if it was your first time.. except you retain your stats and achievements of course. This is helpful for bug fixes or just resetting the game so that you can truly play around while its in development.
