just too few players
I've tried verifying integrity, lowering all graphic settings, disabling texture streaming and multicore rendering (someone in another thread years ago had recommended it for a similar loading issue), but no luck. The game always freezes once the second square fills and it says "Loading Resources."
Edit: Okay christ, I finally got it working. I stumbled upon someone in the forum mentioning that the game has Vulkan support, just not officially yet (?). You can enable it by adding "-vulkan" to your launch parameters. After that it still freezes on the "Loading Resources" part, but after a good 3-5 minutes it'll suddenly wake up and finish loading.
wait what
Maybe with randomized spawns/multiple "bases" for each faction it could work. I believe the biggest map rn is ricefield and it sucks tbh.
I know, it's just not the same. Having more official maps would be great.
