Basically, GGGManlives puts out a review that says the Blood port is good, everyone like GGGman's video - now Civvie puts out one of his videos, and now everyone says the GGG man bad like the NPCs they are

Also Civvie only likes Blood because it's not as "problematic" as Duke Nukem, the absolute spudbrain.

This isn't me as a fanboy of GGGmanlives either, because he's just flat out wrong about Redneck Rampage

Don't know about other games but gmanlives video review was bad and misinforming people. He played the game and didn't find anything to complain about? I found glitches and inconsistencies before finishing the first map.

Civvie is in the right in this one. Still bought the game right after watching his review, heh.

After a couple of updates all this will be in the past :D

That really isn't true, in his BLOOD videos, he gives a ♥♥♥♥ ton of reasons why he loves the game, and he never said that's the only reason he likes it, he just said "Duke can be cringey." Although yeah, that "I don't know what didgeridoobies Gman is smoking" comment wasn't the best idea.

This, along with using "sheeple" as an attack on people who don't like something you do is meaningless and a terrible way to try to prove a point.

Civvie's video had about 10% subjectivity with 90% bugs he had. Legitimately wonky crap happening ingame and crashes.

It's a seriously terrible argument to say "fanboy attack luls" when the video Civvie posted is showing why this remaster has objective design flaws.

PS-Civvie likes Blood because he thinks it's the most fun game. He's said this multiple times. I've played DOOM, Duke3D AND Blood and I agree. Duke will always be my favorite because of nostalgia but Blood is pretty much objectively more enjoyable to play.

So you screenshot a comment from youtube instead of using your own words, add in a "lol" to showcase how above all of this you are, then proceed to use ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hyperbolic statements sparkled with some low key insults, mention a half lie about political correctness and finish it off by stating that you are not a fanboy (while mentioning something completely unrelated).

The comment isn't even valid IMO.

If you watch Civvies videos on Blood you basically are a Blood historian. He meticulously chronicles almost everything in the game besides the actual programming itself.

I played Blood plenty of times, happened upon Civvie's videos and now know WAY more about Blood than just having played it before.

It's such a pedantic ridiculous argument. It would be one thing if Civvie was bashing design philosophy but he wasn't, he was bashing design failure which is objectively a negative in games design.

I bought the game based on Gman's review, but I also respect Civvie's opinions. After playing the game for myself, I agree with Civvie. This game should not be being sold for money at this time.

$5 for an upgrade to the single player experience would not be so bad, but I paid $10 for a friend to co-op with and that is the worst part of the experience by far. Practically unplayable for anyone except the host, and the lack of private sessions is a major deal breaker. Even the single player is barely worth $5 with minimal quality of life enhancements plus multiple new issues and bugs.

I'm not going to call Gman a shill because I think he only (briefly) focused on the single player, but everything Civvie pointed out is valid and significant.

Nah, "GGGmanlives" is an a-hole anyway and he deserves hate.
Even if the hate is undeserved for everyone else... he deserves it.

This guy flips out way too often in his comment section, if someone points out how wrong he was in the video, or if he made a little mistake.
Doesn't the comment was written as nice a possible, GGG...whatever acts like a whiny baby.

So yeah, no need to go the easy route with him, just tell him how stupid he is in a rude way, the response (if there is any) wouldn't be different.

Also, people trusted GGG...crap cause it was the first thing on YouTube that was shown.
Nobody knew better at this time and went to the store.
Now everybody (including Civvie) sees how stupid G...crap is, cause he doesn't talk about anything that's wrong with this title.
And on top of that, he claims that he has played this version for 20 hours before making the review.... so basically, he is even too stupid to notice anything wrong with this title, or he just lies to his viewers for $ome $stupid rea$on.

Honestly, Civvie's review wasn't even that harsh. It was basically just "yeah i mean it's Blood, but it's got bugs rn, just buy it when they patch it".

I Liked both i don't hate gmanlives or civvie's review this shouldn't even be drama since the devs are fixing the these straightaway anyways i like both the reviews i ain't going to complain about it besides civvie review wasn't even directed at gmanlives for liking it and all of a sudden it became an unnecessary drama because of a 3 second clip of civvie saying what were you smoking gmanlives. and apparently people for some reason people think that civvie is calling out gmanlives as if that was the whole point of the video. this drama shouldn't exist because it is just it has no right to exist it is extremely petty to even be argueing about this at all. i am not choosing sides because i don't like one sided arguements. i Like Gmanlives and Civvie but what i don't like is this drama it is getting way out of hand.
