Kings Quest 6 - Can't get the Scythe

[This place sucks]

I need falling water for the rain spell but I can't get to the fountain because I can't cut the bush with the scythe. I can't get the scythe because every time I go to the Isle of Mist druids are on the beach and kill me. WTF do I do?

Have you been to The Isle of the Sacred Mountain yet? Have you mastered the Logic Cliffs and everything else?

You're in a fail state. You have to get the scythe on your 1st visit to the Isle of Mists. The first time you go the druids aren't looking for you on the beach. Steal the coal and the scythe and leave.

My save point is on the shore of the Sacred Mountain and everytime i reload i can't not get captured!

i just restarted the game and followed a guide to win because i got so sick of being stuck after trying the game multiple times without one and ending up in failed positions F Sierra
