9 character player name

Despite how much i enjoy the game, it seems to be filled with a truck load of retarded stuff. Player names in the character creation seem to be limited to 9 characters . Is there a way around that? I tried the ol' Big Picture thing we used back in Dark Souls 2 to make longer names but it wont even activate the name edit while big picture is on.

Nah, its all cool. i moved on to another game that is not garbage. Sure it can be fun but lets be honest, its a sub par, cash grab at best. terrible camera work, hastily and half assed character customization just so they can put some stuff in the store and milk the ppl and a 15 hour prologue that is complete cancer before y can unlock the "cool" parts of the game. Hollow Realization was leagues above this one. Still, i cant say i regret it all that much. i did enjoy some of it so i suppose its all good.

Dark souls 2 was the worst out of the dark souls games but it wasnt as half assed as this one.

We were, though I was mocking you a bit at the same time. What constitutes a "garbage" game is a matter of opinion. You don't like this game... cool. A lot of people wouldn't agree.

You like Dark Souls. I don't. I would call the series trash. Terrible combat, awful graphics, slow pacing, bad story... they have no redeeming qualities to them. They are garbage, so far as I am concerned.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so to speak.

i would beg to differ. Sure, an unfinished pile of manure could appear very appealing to a fly but while you bring up points like story, graphics and your preference in combat, that are clearly left up to the tastes of the individual, i am talking about aspects of the game that make it bad. Camera is clearly broken and even after the fixes of the patch, it will still pan weirdly every time y switch targets, sometimes even slowly taking both y and the enemy out of the screen before it slowly moves to the new target. The character customization is so poor and hastily put together that it is obvious that the idea strapped on the game for the sake of micro transactions. And the entire sequence of the academy life is like a poorly made, looping mechanic filled with exposition just for the sake of prolonging the game even more. Even a mini game like fishing in the game is really underwhelming. Hell, Persona 4 has a better fishing system than SAO. the whole thing is completely pointless.

Camera works fine for me. Character customization is fine for me. The entire first chapter is purely to catch people up to the story.
