i was not a fan of how she was in chapter 1. the way she kept pushing away kirito and euego pissed me off. considering their the only ones that aren't treating her like ♥♥♥♥. and the way she groveled to that scumbag of a fiance every single time. and she's always like "you're annoying. don't get in my business" how about you grow a spine and stand up for yourself first! it took her being locked in a closet and being told by that noble scumbag that he didn't even see her as human before she kicked his ass. something i wish happened sooner. and also what really pisses me off is her deciding to side with the obviously not right in the head priest! i get that kirito didn't want her to get a soul blue screen but would that happen if you told her the reason you killed the administrator. could no one really say "she's not the goddess everyone thought she was! she's an evil witch that brainwashed everyone!" i get that kirito lied to you. but he's been there for you when no one else would be! and your just gonna forget all he did for you and side with the obviously deranged administrator simp who's clearly manipulating you!? god your an idiot.

EDIT: okay my opinion of her is a lot better after chapter 4. she defiantly got a lot better. took a while. but i actually started to like her and wanting to get the true ending to save her.

She is just an NPC. She does her things according to programming. Yes, in Underworld NPCs are slightly more advanced and can develop something like a soul, which is why Kirito cares about her, but overall they are just that - programmed NPCs. And part of her program is that Administrator is like god and she has to serve her. If she gets a conflict in her programming without having good priorities she can go crazy, like that dude which almost raped two girls in Academy, so Kirito doesn't tell her important information becase he cares for her and waits until she is actually ready to accept the other side of the things and break through her programming like Alice did.

The "priest" provided good mission for her which was the same as her goal of resurrecting the Administrator which is why she sided with him. He has more authority in the world compared to Kirito so he has priority.

If you don't forget that she is actually not a human but just an NPC her actions start to make some sense.

Medina pushing away Kirito and Eugeo is understandable from a certain point of view. Most of people she had met considered her to be a "defect", so naturally she's hesitant to trust anyone.

In the academy, she seemed a bit kinder towards them, but she decided to side with that noble to fulfill her dream of restoring a good name for her family - something she did not expect to achieve by siding with Kirito and Eugeo - and that was more important to her than her own well-being, which is why she decided to endure being humiliated for so long.

I believe the official story was that Quinella was asleep, or something like that, and Cardinal was just temporarily in charge, and only the integrity knights knew what happened. I suppose that when she found out Kirito actually killed Quinella, she stopped trusting him (as people do when you lie to them, I guess), probably expecting him to try and use her somehow, like many others did. Also, I believe Kirito offered little or no explanation as to why it happened, except for saying that he had a good reason to kill her (not sure about that part, because it was a long time since I finished the story). Since Hersyrian was the one who revealed that truth to her and promised that she will be able to restore a good name for her family by resurrecting Quinella, she decided to trust him instead.
