Easiest way to do pretty much all story and DLC story content is equipping agile flurry and single minded will passive skills. nothing else required really.
As far as damage output, the overall effect was about the same either way. The health bar barely moved...even when he was downed. Given most of the weapons (what few there actually are) in this game suck, I think the damage difference was only around 2000k damage difference for my +5 Night-Sky/+5 Mirage blade (yeah...I'm still waiting on those "better" swords). I was basically doing ~8k a hit instead of 10. So we're really just talking razor margins here.
Don't get me wrong, most of the fights in this game were a slog. In fact, it's safe to say the party basically carries this game because their weapons always do more damage than anything I have found thus far. Granted you still have to rely on them to heal (unreliably if at all) and "help" (ha ha) you attempt to stagger the bosses for that small window of extra damage. Not to mention them never using their signature attacks unless...
I'm just glad that fight is over. My finger would probably have given out if I had to run that fight a third time. It was literally aching by the time I finally killed him. Either way, it definitely surpasses the Bound Angel solo fight for being BS.
So worst solo fight, absolutely. Worst fight period? That probably still goes to the boss fight to unlock Primier. The boss level jumping to 120 from the previous quest (60-something?). Seriously, what the actual f-?
if you knew and tried what i was talking about you would notice how good those passives are, and if you hazard the boss using the violet flash incarnation on your armor he cant even move.
Normal attack spam with the passives is OP for story content, and lvls dont really matter at all if you do that. only thing you need to think about stuff more is once/if you progress into deeper endgame. but anything upto dlc2 and normal raids is trivial with just a normal attack build.
