The main tip:
1. Don't buy it. If you already bought it - get a refund if you still can.
2. Go and play something else. I personally recommend Genshin Impact.
Speaking seriously, there is no real tips and tricks. If you ever played any other action-oriented JRPG (especially previous SAO games, especially fom AQURIA - Hollow Fragment and Hollow Realization) - you will be perfectly fine.

you just go for the main quest, just skip all side quest except for legendary blacksmith and ReoNa quest.

if you interested with visual attire and items, you can refer to this guide. i find this guide very helpful.

You can also go date with your favorite partner and increase affinity point by playing mini game. If you somehow find it very time consuming, you can just team up with 3 other partner and go fight with bronze and silver bosses. for the first kill, your partner affinity points will increase 1% and later will slowly increase 3%, 8% 11%, 15% 18%, 21%... for each bosses and thats the easiest way to earn "neither a test player nor an npc" achievement. However if you somehow found me in game, please go a date with me and i will probably say that i will bake some cookie for you. hehe

i wish i can tell more, but i forgotten alot seen the game released for like 5-6 month ago. During that time I was lucky to meet with Shin and darkstar01, they help me to farm raid equipment and even sponsor me +5 upgrade. I not so good at this game but if you need help with raid equipment, you can just send me a friend request. :D

You can also follow the tip like the guy above mentioned. I saw your game info and learned that you also own DAL and nekomiko. hehe, i would suggest you to play that game if you decide to refund. that would be sad if you do :runecrying:

I was playing SAO games before here on steam and waited long time for AL, bought full price 100$ (same a sprevious SAO games) and I regret every single coin putted into this game, from worst script ever, to crap combat (I loved HR) and everything that just says "since you payed we dont care anymore". Begin of game was very nice and enjoyed it, after that in my opinion it just goes worse and worse in every single aspect I can think of.

Whenever you are in a village or town while out in the fields look for the blacksmith shops. Each smith in this game have their own unique gear they can craft. So if you ignore them you can end up falling behind on decent gear and end up struggling through the mid and late game areas within the story.

after few hours of looking back at my old screenshot, i recall back some of my old memories. i forget to mentioned that, you can get weapon proficiency by hitting the calamity plant. once your proficiency reached around 400-500, it will increase very slow but you can always switch to other character that having lower proficiency. For example lets say you have 500 bow proficiency , then you switch to shinon and farm another 500 bow proficiency for her. It will add up shinon 500 proficiency to your bow and you will reached max 1000 bow proficiency.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9pc641F6v0
and if you are interested in farming skill mastery, you can also try this. but i dont recommand it because it very time consuming
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEEnfYHADxc
besides that, you can easily farm wild rose by fast travel to another location. if not mistake, there are 8 different wild rose spot, it will re-spawn if you fast travel to another location. so you can just loop around and collect those wild rose.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pcrw3-Lxcbc
there is more but i have to try it out to see if its still working or not... hehe
KUMAN Feb 22, 2021 @ 9:05pm
You may also want to review old Recollections inside your tent. Just examine the book on the table and you will unlock some gallery.

To unlock EX Tank skill tree, you need to deflect 100 times. this can be done easily by traveling to Creyst Core at Sothercrois Empire, find the ocean crab and deflects every attacks. it takes around 20-30 minutes, after you done, find the statue and your EX Tank tree will be unlock.
Alternatively, you can also try this method during sparring practice.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1huFNXS8rS4

You can still do the craft glitch by selecting any craftable equipment and just scroll it with your mouse and choose your desired equipment. This will help you to craft equipment will 0 material cost.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnTSo3JavY0

However, to do that obviously you need to collect some material as a start. So before you begin farming, I advise you to go to North Centoria and find Neroa (cook) and craft "Apple and Oren Pancake" so that you will get extra +1 drop item.

You can fight higher level raid boss in normal mode by quickly cancel out during the synchronizing. If you lucky then it will work, hehe. This can only be done in Multiplayer. But im not sure if you can gain extra exp or not seen back before 1.09 the max level cap was Lv50.

Once you farm 2 skyrend and assuming that you still at lv 46-50, you dont need to set up full party to raid. Just go with a partner or debuffer, be sure to have firespark and wit end skill/rule by the strong. Just hit normally and do Ex chain 2/2 and chain burst lv3 combo with Starburst Stream is enough to take down any raid bosses less then 1 minute /10-11 min per run. However you may find this challenging fighting with Todd boss at East raid but it can easily done if you cast godrobe warrior. This was done back in 1.09.

Hello there, there is actually few things you need to understand so your play will be much easier
  1. At earlier stage, try not to hit enemy whose name coloured with dark red as it's level are too high for your character to kill.

  2. For beginning part for healing (when you don't have access to Faeries Rondo, Merciful Shine or Light of The Gods yet), you need to maximise usage of Echo of Life, Luminous and Dance of Life (later on they will be obsolete though when you learn Faeries Rondo, Merciful Shine or Light of The Gods)
Also once you reach chapter II you will learn luminous which will be handy for healing.

  3. Pay attention for sidequest when you only allowed to have party with 2 members, you will probably need to stock up some health herb S or M as you may got surrounded and need instant quick heal.

  4. Avoid any of berserker and tanker skills tree, all of them are useless.

  5. If you want to level up faster make sure to use Hyper Awareness Passive and use Stern anima as it's will increase your exp gain, there is also food to increase exp gain (Roasted Meat and Herbs).
There is also cube item called Stacia Blessing that will increase your exp gain for 1 hour for each use

  6. When you find that you can't hit an enemy, you need to increase your Accuracy (ACC) as ACC is the first thing will be matched with any enemies to determine whether you can hit them or not.

Rise up ACC will sometimes allowed you to hit dark red enemies with level higher than you which is good for exp.

If you find you can't hit enemies then it's your acc is not enough for that enemy.
After you able to hit the enemy you need to pay attention on the sword skill, sword skill have modifier of it's power that will increase the power according to certain sub stat, therefore you need to increase that substat to deal more damage.

    Note
    1. The higher the level difference of enemy compared to you the higher acc will be required to hit them, therefore if you unable to hit level 18 enemy when you are level 9 or so, try to level up a bit more or try increase your acc.
    2. 250 ACC is the recommended accuracy, this must be met before you try extreme raid.
    3. Normal raid is really easy after level 80 update so no recommended acc to do normal raid.
  7. Always try to get enemy in downed state through hazard and fatal as downed state enemy will suffer more damage especially if your sword skill has rakhsasa incarnation attached to it (please refer to raid guide for how to set the incarnations)

  8. Useful passives you should unlock asap :
    • Hawkeye - 10% acc
    • Mental focus - 10% dex (2 dex means approx 1 acc)
    • High Precision Machine - +15 acc
    • Rising Spirits +5% to all stat (str, dex, evd, vit)
    • Cackling Devastator (AOE to all attacks)
    • Killing Blow - 30% critical power
    • Shadow hands - 15 % Special Accuracy debuffer only
    • Mental Resonance - 20% Special Accuracy debuffer only
    • Pierce Weakness - 10% crit rate
    • Blade Dance - follow up attack +1

  9. Try to unlock these 8 skills asap :
    1. Mindbreak (Attack skill tree) - Instant hazard enemy
    2. Sword of the Goddesses (Buffer skill tree) - 25% attack speed
    3. Reaper Wrath (scout skill tree) - 35% crit
    4. Galvanize (scout skill tree) - instantly fill art gauge - one of the most broken skill
    5. Curse of the Weak (debuffer skill tree) - decrease enemy attack level by 7, decrease enemy speed by 10%, increase enemy delay for 20%, reduce enemy skill power by 10% and reduce enemy defense level by 1
these 3 skills bellow are part of debuffer 4 skills full combo - the last one is at witt end which required Abyssal Ring (refer to my raid guide)
    6. Hand of the Abyss (debuffer skill tree) - increase debuff accuracy (special accuracy) by 20 %.
    7. Black Chains of Discord (debuffer skill tree) - increase debuff accuracy (special accuracy) by maximum 25% and decrease enemy speed by 20% and decrease enemy skill speed by 10%
    8. Child of Chaos (debuffer skill tree)
Use to decrease enemy skill speed by 50% and reduce both enemy attack and defense level by 1

  10. Farm and collect these broken incarnations :
    1. Rakshasa Incarnation
Location : Southern Corridor Chest, from entrance go left, north then east the chest is at the room guarded by snails.
Use for : Main hitter through skill customization as this incarnation give 80% damage vs downed enemy - this will increase damage dealt to downed enemy.
    2. Beauty Incarnation
Location : Villind Plateaus, from Drugo Temple Fast Travel Save Point go North, jump the hill and go straight north to the chest guarded by mobs.
Use for : all AI except debuffer, to unlock chain burst level 4 (Infinity Moment) - therefore no need to ever cast Brand of the Flowerblade, additionally increase chain burst damage by 50%
    3. Phoenix Incarnation
Location : Treitis Pass Clamp Cluster Reward.
Use for : all AI characters, for all combat skill except debuff and Mind Break in order to lower SP consumption by 50%, and decrease cool down by 20%.
    4. Mythic of Usurpation
Location : Vizeah Valley Clamp Cluster Reward.
Use for : debuff combat skill, increase special accuracy by 30.
  11. At endgame point of the game you have to always bring debuffer as they will makes your life easier with their At witt end.
Your option is two dagger or mace, dagger can also slow down with shadowstich which why peoples prefer them over maces.
Dagger also get access to veinshedder which has the other broken skill - Tiger Resolve
  12. For heart to heart and pillow talk related you can refer my guide here

If you focus ONLY on accuracy, then your damage will drop. And accuracy needed ONLY in raids\divine beasts. So "acc over anything" is not the best choice for an early game

I uploaded my art code for ReoNa as debuffer. You can download it if you want from Network Menu. If you use my art code, she will:
  • Auto chain once you perform your combo finish
  • Debuff enemy
  • Break enemy defense with armor piercer
  • Rush attack from behind - prefer use with cautions anima
Its not the best, but you can try it if you want. I wont recommend you to rely my art code during raid bosses because she will act weird with randomly casting sacred art.

If you follow the professional guide like the guy mentioned above #10, by enhancing your ACC, you can be a beater by creating a room. once you reach the boss room, quickly cancel out during synchronizing. then your friend will auto disconnect and leave you with an unmovable boss. You have one hour to slay it, meanwhile you can screenshot and show it to your friend that your become a beater. please, hehe. don't do that to your friend :steamlaughcry:
similar situation with this,

Lastly, seen now we have new item from the cube, you can take advantage by using Master Ring to increase your weapon mastery and if needed, the Ring of god creating blessing to gain +50% experience.

Any tips on how to re-spawn beasts more efficiently for RNG. For example I'm farming the beast that drops the white mist armor and want better stats with the passive and skill on it. On all the YouTube videos I've watched, people say to stay at campfires and rest for 4-7 in game days but that doesn't work for me. When I asked the video creators, they said it should so, I re-validated my game save files but still nothing re-spawns with campfires or kirito's tent resting spots. Only thing that seems to work is defeating all beasts on all maps then defeating divine beasts, rinse and repeat. This is annoying when only one item is what I need to farm for over and over. I reached out to support, their reply was that this must be a bug and they have sent it up to the developers to investigate. Other than that I'm just really annoyed with how long it takes to farm for better gear to use in customizing skills and would appreciate any tricks or tips to get around this problem until it's fixed.

same, as for me i just play the game as usual and travel back from time to time and check see if its respawn or not. I dont think its a bug, thats how the game works. Rumors said that you need to kill 7 relic bosses for it to respawn but its not working for me too.

I personally felt equipment drop from relic boss are very useless and not worth to farm because its very time consuming. However, if you still want to farm it. I suggest you go farm materials for legendary blacksmith. First you go to North Centoria and find Neroa (cook) and craft "Apple and Oren Pancake" so that you will get extra +1 drop item.

Let say, after slayed the relic boss, you got your materials, then you can start to craft it with this trick by using the material you earn to craft unlimited equipment with zero material cost.

Let say if this succeed, then you dont need to worry about the RNG. just keep crafting until you get your desire equipment stats. which is the max stats ofcourse, hehe

My idea was probably is not the best, but if you just begin your journey then i would suggest just equip normal equipment until you reach lv40++ and join raid bosses.
