Multiple save files
Just a question here for developer and maybe been brought up before. When will this game get multiple save file support? For most of us we have more than one player in our house holds. Would love to see this support happen in the near future. As long as this game been available id would it have happen by now. Hope the developer of this game will add this future in the near future. I hope this will trend.

Firstly, no most of us don't have more than one player for a game like this in our households. That's more of a you problem. The majority of us use our own personal computers that aren't shared with others.

Now if it's really that important for you to have multiple save files, you'll never get it from the devs. Every SAO game has ever only had one save slot. This game will be no different. So you'll need to do it yourself. Go to the steamapps common file directory and look for this games main folder. Then you'll have to find the save data and copy and store a backup of it somewhere else on you hard drive.

Let me clarify that I am a solo player my self. This is meant to be a conversation piece not a put down topic. Going in to the files to copy and save the data gets monotonous over time. I have all the SAO games except for the collaboration game. Re: Hollow Frag and Fatal Bullet had this feature which I use to get people who visit and become interested in playing. I am the gamer in my house and I wouldn't tell someone that they have a you problem. Sorry to draw your IRE S Swordsman with aspiration to help grow the gaming community.

I didn't mean that in a bad way you know. I just meant you'd be in the minority with a problem like multiple people playing on one pc. So sorry if that came off as rude.

Would I like to see a multi save system?
Of course. I've played through this game three times myself, and had to delete my old saves to do it. So having a way to avoid that would be appreciated. But I'm being a realist. The other games didn't have that, and the dev's have lost my trust with this game.

So do I believe they'll add one?
No.

Apology accepted Solo Swordsman. You do have a point about some of the game developers these days. Kuman I didn't think to use the steam family library sharing. I'll try that out.

I don't agree with you. All sao games except lycoris have up to 5 save slots. It's also a very important thing. For example, you downloaded 1 character for multiplayer battles, but you wanted to replay the game. You have no choice but to delete your main character, which few players will want to do. All that remains is dancing with a tambourine in order to somehow replace the save files.

you can browse to your games save data location, which is steam/userdata/*numbers*/1009290 (*numbers* is your steams account number, it'll be different for every steam account), copy paste this folder, you can leave it as "1009290 - copy" or name it something else

now you can open lycoris and click new game, whenever you want to go back to your previous save file, just swap the names of the two files, "1009290" and "1009290 - copy"

Only Re:Hollow Fragment and Fatal Bullet had multiple save slots. The other games don't. I really wanted to play Hollow Realization again but i don't want to delete my save file and edit it every time. Can't remeber if Lost Song and SAO VS AW had multiple save slots.

you can do this for Hollow Realization also, its game Id is "607890" instead of "1009290"
