Can i breakdown weapons i earn

Instead of selling, and how do i make a good weapon, and know what weapons to upgrade vs wasting matts on zrash and feeling i wasted my time.

Example a 2 star sledgehammer plus 2 eadily outdamaging 3 star plus 4 great sword, knife, sword, and dueal wield and whip.

I think i just suck making weapons.

No, you can't scrap/breakdown weapon and there is no upgrade system when 2 star weapon can be 5 star at the end like for example last of remnant by collecting material to upgrade.
What can you do here is using material to enhance weapon.

And I don't think crafting weapon is necessary in early stage as the crafted weapon start to become necessary once you get into chapter V of the main story, so you don't have to worry about weapon crafting till then.

I just want to inform you that unfortunately the best weapon source is not the blacksmith even the legendary one but you need to grind it by defeating extreme raid lots times

All of them are obtainable randomly (rng based) from extreme raid except the Mace as it's crafted by Legendary Blacksmith, but the real best Mace also from extreme raid but it's not good for debuffing.

There is also best whip, but since I don't use it, I don't enhance it.

Best one is the all variant weapon but I haven't found good one all stat 2-hand and bow yet, that's why I use Dex variant.

Believe me it's takes lots of grind to get these weapon if you are as unlucky as me.

And due to the game crazy mechanic/system it's only possible to tackle highest Boss (extreme raid) with these unless you use Tiger Resolve which is exclusive to Veinshedder (dagger)
