How to make Ai heal you ? RESOLVED

So I've been trying to make someone who is not default a healer into a healer but for some reason when I use the record thing to setup heals they never heal me ??? Is it perhaps required for them to be a healer in the first place like their EX is healer or am I missing something ?

I've tried all of the available heal skills in the record section but the Ai just won't use any of them :/

Any advice is appreciated :)

EX change the behaviour alot for ai so they are extremely important. Setting one to healer will increase the likelyhood of them using heals from your records you setup and if you set any skills as their 4 main from that ex ai will use them when it thinks its appropriate without having any records tied to them.

So if I understand this correctly I should make my healer have more then 1 healing record ? Also is it even possible to change your other characters their ex skill ?

1 is fine. Yes you can change ex of ai though if you are still in chapter 1 it might be locked till 2 i can't remember if that's a thing. No matter what you do though even with perfect record setup ai is quite derpy in this game so don't expect miracles.

Well from what I'm seeing the ai is switching to the right record because I've put in 4 different heal skills in different records and they keep switching between them but they just don't use the heal... Maybe my main character needs those heal skills first before the Ai can use them ?
I'm seriously confused here haha...

Records will continue to confuse you if you try to understand them. The best you can do is set them up, set the ex up for the character and hope they will use them from time to time.

I wouldn't bother worrying about records till later. During story you don't even need records if you swap to each ai manually and do level 1 luminous sacred art and use the lb commands for the sword skills.

No you don't need ex skill heal to be equiped, I set my character as attacker but has this record equiped (Asuna)

Equip it at second slot of the sun record is enough

This Asuna is good for helping creat chain, down enemy and always heal when necessary

I set the same for Leafa

So I have 2 sub healer every time


Please note that you can't set sub record with the same requirement as main record (Personality record)

When you replace personality make sure that the new personality is not override the sub record you already set for a certain character.

The priority of AI action will always be Main Record then sub record (start from first slot until the bottom slot) and each record has it's prerequirement when it's will be activated

Yeah I think something is wrong with my game or something... I gave Sortiliena a blank slate and deleted everything and just added a simple heal record that triggers after one of us is under 99% health just to test and no matter what heal skill I use the Ai won't use it even the sacred art Luminous and still nothing the Ai just ignores all my healing records... Is the reason perhaps because I've not unlocked the Healer EX ? I'm seriously thinking my save is bugged or something... I'm rushing the story towards that healers statue so I can test if it was that but I think my save is just messed up or something...

Yeah I think something is wrong with my game or something... Do a check on the frequency of usage. This number is actually a percentage. If the number is above 50, it will choose between normal attack and heals. If it is just a single digit, probabilty of it being used is very low.
A youtuber Havian teaches u how to increase by manually using until it reach 50 and what branches to delete.
You dont need to he EX healer if you have above 50. For numbers below, play it safe and just use healer to force AI to use it until reaches 50.

Thanks but I've seen his video and I get what your saying but without the Healer tree skills I can't manually force it...

Well i found if i changed ex from healer for example usage rates start to drop on the heal skills in my experience until it reached 0 but i haven't bothered changing it for a long time so it might have have changed since then in one of the patches.
