About to ask the same thing, especially on grind part where in FB its needed for ending or does this game don't have those?

The combat in this game feels more rewarding than it did in FB. Not going to spoil the ending but there is no need to grind for it. It has a special ending but it can be achieved without grinding. The only thing is this game still has a few bugs, but is significantly better than when it was first released.
Hope this helped!
you cant compare a shooter (yes i know, it has rpg elements too... but more focus on guns ) and a (medieval, fantasy) rpg ^^
thats two different worlds :)

Unfortunately you can't compare these 2 games in a certain way.

SAO:FB is much better than SAO:AL, if you speak about only graphic.

Loots? Meh.

Character? Harshly say, SAO:FB is not better than SAO:AL.

Nobody cares about graphics in a JRPG anyway, the best JRPG's look kinda ugly but they're good because of many other reasons.

But yes AL looks better than FB in case of graphics on max setting

Whatever make people happy, I stop caring already.

Depends what you like, if you like more melee focused combat AL is miles better in build variety and weapon skills but it depends on what you like more, if youre more in to shooters FB will be more enjoyable but if youre more in to RPG mechanics AL is better, graphics wise they are both simply average

Fatal Bullet was made on unreal engine 4 while lycoris was made on phyre engine. UE4 its known for its high quality renderer and high quality shader sets while the opposite can be said about PE, they where developed by different studios too. So far, FB looks and perform way better, have less pop in and if you want to improve graphics, you can also slap a ton of extra settings making the game looks even better.
While lycoris uses an outdated poor performant engine, fatal bullet dis the oposite and it wasnt rushed like lycoris did.
Lycoris have alot of very beautiful screenshot places, but the performance and excesive pop in destroys that once you start walking, fatal bullet its way more consistent while also performs super, super well.
Also lights, shadows and particle effects are way better on fatal bullet.
Lycoris have a better arpg combat, fatal bullet its more of a shooter, indeed its superv on m+kb while lycoris its a nightmare without a gamepad.

False as hell. FB have way better graphics, specially if you want to take a few minutes and paste some settings in the engine.ini. lycoris have a wonderful map design, but once you start walking and the pop up starts, fatal bullet feels and looks way better, specially during combats where lights and particle effects on FB are higher resolution and not "nerfed because optimization"
On release lycoris looked marvelous, but on its current state its hollow realization with added grass quality. And some shadows here and there.

Oh true they had an rollback, I forgot about that. But overall I don't need good graphics in a game like that. Falcom RPG's are the best RPG's and they never look beautiful

I agree, graphics are not super important, but on lycoris the fact that they downgraded them its relevant. Its part of a lot of things poorly executed that leads to the actual game state. Also, I dont mind graphics as the most important thing, but quality, and while HR have low graphics, the experience its smooth. No insane pop in that disrupt the field, no random FPS drops while looking at mountains, etc.
Lycoris its a good game and on a combat perspective, the best SAO so far, but there are stuff like the pop in being invasive to the point of rendering entire walls in front of the player, or the super un even performance that makes the game less enjoyable. I rather have no grass than randomly spawning grass in front of my face haha.
They could at least add an "og mode" where you can enable original super bad performance graphics, even if that makes you play at 30fps, but leave the choice to us instead of forcing it like they did.
Im not ok with this kind of stuff, and its less of a graphic issue and more of a managment one. They presented a product with certain features that are no longer there, and thats not ok.

Apples and oranges. Completely different types of games, only mutually bound by the franchise.
