- 1H is easier to use.
- Can handle most of situations, that being able to counter most of enemy state (guard break, riled up & enchanted).
- Can debuff enemy's attack to if you equip with Special Accuracy.
Dual Wield:
- Dual Wield is difficult to use due to ridiculously tiny skill branching follow-up window (Inferno Raid & Shine Circular).
- But you can ignore those difficult sword skill and just spam Starburst Stream all day. Resulting bland gameplay.
- Moment Bite sword skill can easily cause instant hazard to any enemy/boss. Since only need proc the % when the enemy is in attack animation.
- Only good once you get both swords that gives lot of stats, since it's the only weapon that practically has "extra accessory slot". Which enable your build having really high stats.
- Starburst Stream animation sequences is really bad. More like Starburst Spin.
Single blade is easier to chain and I think the attacks look better. /shrug. It's buyer's choice on this one.
so you are ignoring moment bite who removes enemy defensive status and has a chance to hazard and can guard break? or nigthmare raid who removes enhanced state? countless spikes who remove finisher status ? black howling for launching hazard enemies?
i mean it is true you get more skills with 1h sword and more debuffs but saying dual only have stardust stream is like me saying 1 h only have nova ascension
I did mention about Moment Bite's instant hazard. It's too slow for Guard Break, most cases my party member already hit the guard which cause the enemy to proceed with counter sequence.
Countless Spikes remove finisher status?
Have you actually use it? It's counter feature that remove the finisher status. Instead, Moment Bite sword skill does better job.
Black Howling for launching hazard enemies?
Why would you do that? The skill animation is too long which cause lower DPS & the hazarded enemy/boss may already recovered instead. You can just use regular launch attack then proceed with Nightmare Rain.
Nightmare Rain, that's one of good sword skill in Dual Wield.
It's better if the dev makes Inferno Raid & Shine Circular easier to use.
Ignoring skill follow-up difficulty:
- Inferno Raid lv3 : Has really good damage, fast&simple animation & have little debuff.
- Shine Circular : Also has really good damage & fast as well. Deal x2 damage to downed enemy. Great pair with Moment Bite's instant hazard & Nightmare Rain Combo.
Full combo while enemy is hazard: Double Circular(Launch) >Final Revolution(Fatalize) > Nightmare Rain(Down) >Starburst Stream and then you can Finisher Art or something.
