Anime Adaptation DLC?

It would be nice to play the war of the underworld. We don't need special cutscenes for Medina, just stick to the original anime story. #Devs make it happen

No, they won't make it happen, don't even try to ask or don't have any hopes. Futami told everything about this earlier. Alicization Lycoris is story about Medina - and two big DLCs in the future will be continuation of that story. Also he said that War of Underworld exists as anime adaptation, so he never wanted just to recreate it, he wanted something new and original.
Oh, and "to add Dark Territory to the game he needed 3 more years" (c). So, there is no Dark Territory in the main game as for now and, probably, there won't be in the future (if only they are not trying to keep it a secret because they want to surprise players in the future).

Subtilizer was teased in Fatal Bullet. War of the Underworld or not: It would suck if they left that plot-thread open.

At first I hated Medina character, but now I feel pity for her really her character was basically a slot-in filler into a bad written SAO story. I think there no way any DLC story can make me feel this story had any purpose, but as a filler. I can imagine the DLC would be side story with Medina (trying get us like her more), but I feel pity for the character. Futami looks like someone is trying appeal to fans outside of SAO community for the extra revenue over the loyal fans that been here since around the begin.

I question did Reki really wrote this story? I keep looking back at story for chapter 5 and compare to 2, 3, and 4. It felt like Reki wrote a story fan servicing Alice and Eugeo, and someone came in change the story to be about Medina just add some original favor to this game. Even chapter 6 it was showing Alice, Eugeo, and Kirito defeating Pointflex without need for Medina character to begin with.

Kawahara didn't write any of SAO-games stories. He only supervised games creation as far as I know.

Ugh... No thanks. Even with Medina, this has fixed so much of what was wrong with the Alicization Arc in general it's not even funny.

I'd rather have Strea, Yuuki, Tia, Kizmel, Alecia, Sakuya, and the Sleeping Knights (well...at least Siune and Nori)

Well the story of Lycoris was originally written to have Alice as the main character, but they decided like halfway through development to throw in Medina as the main character. Thats why it feels like a lot of the game and its story is written in a way where medina has literally no value or relevant part to it. Doesnt help that you could literally put any other character that had a background as a noble and they would be far more interesting. For example, Sortelina and Tiese.

it would be a big mistake to let certain people die like in the anime, and make them unplayable ;)

that thing would destroy the complete story of the last games :)

replace medina with playable administrator (but she is a good person now) she will fight to stop the stress test thats the reason she joins the group done

He doesn't actually write them, he just oversees them

TBh it isnt saying much that the dlc is half as long as the main story, since i felt like a significant portion of the main story felt more like filler than actual part of the story.
