Perks/Skill for party members
Am I missing something or do I have to skill into certain things with the main character in order to give skills to my party members?

I'd like to spec some characters at tanking, healing, buffing etc., but some skills require me to do certain actions to unlock them.. which means if I want to create a healer I have to play and level one first.

Is this really how it is? Because this would mean the most efficiant way of playing the game for god-knows how long would be to chose three group members with the same spec as yourself, so you can use and unlock all their skills.

I'm really confused when it comes to teaching party members new skills and perks in this game. In previous games they learned them by themselfs, but it does not seem to be like this in this one..? Help? :D

You are correct in that there isn't individual skill trees. There is just one big global skill tree. You can think of it as a party tree.

I don't get it. This means people are basically forced to play roles they don't enjoy just so they have the ability to set up a decent party. That's a weird design decision D:

I think they're just lazy designing the skill trees for individual characters, there are too many of them.

For healing, just use a party member that has Healer role, with that role that member will cast an aoe group heal which will give you the numbers you need to unlock the healer skill tree. Its what i did and it worked.

For tanking.. unfortunately you gotta do it yourself, time to start deflect spamming huh. That said these Sword duels parts can be used to farm deflect in order to unlock tanking.

The overall quality of this games release seems to support that statement :-/

But at least I found out that leveling a buffer shouldn't be that big of a deal. I just equipped 4 buffs on my character and casted all of them while not being in combat. It immediatelly jumped from 1 to 13 (4 buffs, 3 effected characters). Having a buffer should at least be possible without being forced to work too hard for it.

Oh, so these healers do actually work? I took Silicia with me one time but just like Eugeo she just stood there, doing nothing for the whole time. Thank you for the tipp. I see if I can find another healer to try that out.

And regarding the tanking.. I'm not even sure if party members can tank. Eugeo is a tank if I'm not mistaken, but he is doing nothing for the entirety of the game so far. But that might be due to a lack of tank skills I suppose.

Thanks for the tipps though! I see if I can work with that! I just saw that someone must have healed at some point. Progress is already at 25.000 / 100.000. I guess I just didn't notice.

The statues to unlock the specs in the end are probably somewhere in chapter 3, could this be? :)

Take the 2.5% HP regeneration perk. You will quickly get up to the 100k
