Usualy theres a timer you have to wait
I'm currently playing this game on Xbox, and am in the second valley. I managed to get Kirito killed fighting a level 18 Mushroom, and now the game won't switch back to him, but bounces between Eugeo and Medina. Which wouldn't be a problem except for I have side quests to turn in, and neither of them seem to capable of turning in quests.
So that glitch is my problem. So if the above method doesn't work, I've got a couple of options and want some opinions.
Option 1: advance the story; I'm just about to enter the next town, but I wanted to turn in my side quests because games are notorious for gating out quests behind story events or whatnot, and while I doubt the rewards are GREAT, I'm a completionist and would hate to have something just sitting there in my quest log until the point I restart the game
Option 2: restart the game; doable. I'm only 5 or 6 hours into the game, and some of that was figuring out various mechanics that the game hasn't explained, getting lost in the hills trying to find quest objectives and struggling with the maps. I could likely get back to this point far faster than before, plus I'd be armed with my newer knowledge. But I do have a number of consumables from CUBE drops, so if I lost them I may be annoyed as well. Unless they carry over...
So if anyone had any input, I'd be much appreciative.
Yeah, that did exactly nothing. It's like the game considered Kirito dead or under some other status debuff (the fight ended with him being KO'd), so I just advanced the story and didn't turn in the other quests. Ah well.
