DirectX startup problem
EVERYTIME i start up the game it doesnt even go to the start screen, it just stops at the launching screen and says DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Reinstall DirectX.

I tried different versions such as DirectX 9 and DirectX 11 but it is still the same

WAW uses DirectX 9.

Verify the game cache + reinstall the game if that doesn't work.

Has it ever worked?

PC specs?

Direct x9 never worked for me...
I run a Windows 7 proffesional
Processor: Intel (r) core (tm)2 duo CPU
System type: 64-Bit operating system
DirectX version: Direct x11

Direct X features:

Directdraw acceleration: Unavailable
Direct3d acceleration: Unavailable
AGP texture acceleration: Unavailable

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO...if you need more info on how to fix this i can get it for you. Thank you for your time

All the Windows updates installed?

DirectX won't install for me.

It wont install for me either...says found a better version. All I need is a way to figure out how to make everything that is Unavailable Available
