Call of Duty: World at War

Error Message Direct3DDevice9::Present failed: n/a Help would be much appreciated
Installed WaW about a week and a half ago and this is my second post about an issue i'm experiencing where I get this particular error message (I wasn't able to actually see the error message pop up until just a couple days ago which is why I didn't include it in my first post). I select a server and sometimes it does allow me to enter the game and participate in the game but 95% of the time it either crashes/freezes on the "Waiting for other players" screen where it shows a picture of the map or it ends up crashing and freezing after I select a class to use. Is it possible it's the maps themselves and there's an incompatibility issue with some setting somewhere? If anyone knows anything I'd really appreciate a reply because I'm kinda itching to play this game and haven't really been able to since I bought it.

I too am having this issue. Started when I installed Plutonium.
I'm having the same issue. Happens anytime I try to play Zombies or even Campaign.

hey just wondering if you found any solution to this issue? thanks.
I'm having the same issue as well. Haven't been able to find a solution anywhere.

Damn that sucks. It's so bizarre, and just to give an example of what i'm dealing with. On multiplayer, let's say I select a server that has the classic maps in it's rotation. Why does Dome work but Castle, Cliffside, Asylum etc can't? Like what's the difference? Just really strange.
