Australian/NZ servers?

just wandering if there were any aussie/nz servers that people play in coz everything is around 200 to 300 ping

The closest thing we have is our new server: PDElite.net| BRAZIL/ARGENTINA/USA/MEXICO
192.210.140.164:28960. It's new, so there won't be a lot of players and the best time to catch players is at nights in that part of the world. We have a New Zealand regular and she says it's the best for her at the moment. It's still kinda far, but closer than all the others. Make sure you have the punkbuster fix which can also be found at our site.

thats cool ill check it out, the normal one you have has 300 ping for me and is very hard to play in. Is it also true that the number of players listed is not the same as the actual number of people in the server?

You can refresh your browser to see the number of people playing in a server. I think with the IP I listed above, it may give you above 200 ping. I think that's what our one player from NZ gets. Our other server called PDElite.net|Normal #1 is mainly for Europe and the eastern U.S. and yes, you'll have 300 ping there.

sometimes i join a server with 10 people listed but no one actually running around. just wanted to know if the opposite were true, 0 people listed but lots running around

Hehe if 0 people are listed on our US server after refreshing the list, then it's probably true with it being a new server and all. It's gonna take some work getting it active like our EU server because for some weird reason, besides devoted crouch servers, most of the western world likes to play on european servers. That's probably due to constant population in europe as they care more for codwaw anyways. Check the nights for activity there.

This is a US Server but we get Australians in our server. Their ping is about 200. Wish you good luck finding a server to have fun and play on with less ping.
