Well in my opinion I'm playing the normal version of the game just fine without using plutonium

Windows 11
1920 x 1080p 170hz monitor
Intel core i7 13700k
Nvidia Geforce rtx 3060 12gb
32 gb ram

I run 4k, 60 hz I just select it in options, in the main menu. If the game will not allow above 60 , you can try to set it manually in the save game "config" file. I have had to do this with many older games that did not support 4k "natively"! The games worked fine then.

Oh and you may have to set the config file to read only "in property's" so it will not revert back.
