World at War does not officially support split-screen and requires an alternative setup using Nucleus Coop. It's a whole process and takes a while to setup. I found a guide here[redd.it] but I can't confirm if it works well or not.

If you really want to play split-screen easily, Black Ops III officially has split-screen support and has all the World at War zombie maps too. But that's a whole other game so...

You can play Zombies online by just going into Cooperative, and then Host Online or Find Game. When hosting just change the game mode to Nazi Zombies and you're set. Not many people host public lobbies anymore but I see one pop-up every now and then.
